    Nope.

I said that it was in the police report, and he clearly did “something” wrong. It matters very little to me that resisting arrest was dropped, when he was still charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and fleeing the scene. Danmarino linked the video earlier, and boy is it flattering.

If you want that as your franchise QB, be my guest and have it. So let me reiterate for you, since you’re incapable of reading along: I don’t care if the charge was dropped, the fact that it was in the police report and this numb skull actually put himself in that position is disturbing behavior.

no clue I would say a month or so, usually FA signings which make a diference are don ein the first 48-72 hours if not sooner after that everything goes flat so we don't have to wait until the draft for them to make moves. unless they plan on doing it draft night, but dragging their feet are going to see the bills move up, seeing how cousins is going to minn bills jets and Miami all need qb's lol

exactly my point and Miami is going to wait and wait and watch everyone else sit there and move up and snag players. I heard Denver liked Mayfield but maybe with signing keenum there going to go corner and replace talib who knows. im just saying if there is a guy we want and think he is a game changer then Im sure there is a decent package we can trade the browns for the 4th, I thought adding landyr to that would have been the best move

It makes sense to wait until draft day before moving, unless you can get the #1. Why would they offer a ransom for a pick and then the player they targeted isn't there?

oh I totally understand that for draft day, but Miami needs more than 1 player so even if they got the 4th it would be someone needed: top lb, top cb, , OL, DL, RB, QB on their board. that's 6 so whatever is on their board they can get is all im saying. The bills have alotta picks and the 12 pick so its easily traded instead of Miami on draft day.

ive been told by multiples that's what the bills are doing...going up there for josh rosen

they want to run an o similar to the patriots. ie pre snap and progression read. proper ball placement for rac

and rosen is the best at that in the class

he's also the best fit for miamis current o

    durability being the one hiccup

They don't need any one position bad enough to give up finite resources to get. If you trade up, you trade up for a specific player. Otherwise you're giving up resources that could fill the holes you're describing.

that's the problem is Miami doesn't have any top talent at all, every player left on this roster is just blah, the fact that's what you believe is fine. but Miami needs pretty much someone at every position I listed. we need a qb LB CB WR all bad, sure we got Edelman at 32+ years but how long is that going to last. we have no depth for skill players. and no TE which you possibly could get at 11. but what im saying is if Mayfield is the #1 guy on the board then you do whatever you need to do to get him. not sit back and watch the bills or Denver snag him. however I think allen is on bills radar.

I hope they do get rosen, Ive said this a lot on here, I have UCLA season tix and I don't see rosen being an nfl guy. So I do hope the bills get him should be 2 easy wins for us. Rosens decision or suspect his arm strength is cutler esque but his accuracy isn't where a top 5 guy should be. for some reason the socal QB mantra is always so high but none of them pan out in the league, seems like the high praises should just stay in nor cal they seem to pan out pretty good. So because Peyton Manning committed sexual assault in college but didnt get caught and it wasnt talked about in a police report, makes him franchise QB material?

Or because Dan Marino liked to take 8 balls to the head every Saturday night but never happened to run across a cop while the sweetness was going through the straw, makes him franchise QB material?

Cam Newton? Not franchise worthy hrm? What a thug. Continues to be a thug today right?

Big Ben? I seem to remember something involving him...

Here is the problem with your argument, and someone pointed it out earlier when asking you if you speed....Your response. "Well Im not a franchise QB"...Good point. However, take a look around the NFLs QBs. If youre sitting there and trying to tell us that 99% of the NFL QBs didnt break the law while in college, you're a fool. They just didn't get caught doing it. It doesn't excuse Mayfields behavior. It was a mistake, he was wrong and he made it worse than what it should have been. But the dude didn't commit murder here. He didn't even fight back. Casting him to the depths of hell for this run in with the law is ridiculous. The same way its ridiculous when people did it to Cam and did it to Jameis.

The only thing they can do is maybe move to #4. That means 3 teams pick before them and those teams could pick their target. Why not wait and see if the player you want is available before you give up a ransom?

It does not make sense giving up #11 plus who knows what else for any position other than QB, at any time in any draft, unless you're already a contender. There will be plenty of top shelf talent available at #11 for CB, LB, WR, etc.

99.9% of what you're putting on this board right now is crap. Unlike Boomer, I mean that 99.9% literally not figuratively.

None of the quarterbacks you’ve mentioned has anything to do with the Miami Dolphins. Whatever crimes they may or may not have committed has nothing to do with the Miami Dolphins.

I’m not saying what Baker Mayfield has done is akin to murder, or any kind of hyperbolic statement that you’re insinuating. I’m directly saying in very plain English that Baker Mayfield is a head case, with a checkered past that ran afoul with police and maturity issues.

The Dolphin’s front office current narrative and buzzwords being crammed down everyone’s throat is:

    • Changing the culture
    • Intelligent players
    • High character

Now you try to connect the dots. Is Baker Mayfield as the face of their franchise all of those things that they’re seeking in a player? It’s possible, but that’s not something that I’m personally willing to bet on - compounded by the night life scene in South Beach.

Thanks, but no thanks. If Miami is going all in on a quarterback, then Josh Rosen makes the most logical sense to me.
