Heat have won the last 2 against Philly and Philly doesnt have a good record against Eastern conference playoff teams.

3rd loss in the last 3 months. Nothing to play for.

Yeah, im panicking about this loss.:001_rolleyes:

Meanwhile I just watched the Knicks rape the Heat. Heat are actually playing for something...and lose to a tanking team. Kind of pathetic.

That was early in the year, Heat stand virtually no shot, imo. 14 wins straight, 50 all together, Heat are vastly overmatched.

    It was a month ago.

The streaks nice, sure. But im looking at their schedule during the streak and its not that impressive. Theyve beaten 1 EC playoff team (barely) and 1 WC 8th seed during the streak. Right before the streak, they lost 3 straight games to EC playoff teams in miami, indiana, and milwaukee.

But Damyean Dotson going off for 30 when he was put in as a defensive replacement to guard Wayne Ellington was kinda sweet. Dotson’s worked hard all year between the G league and some spot minutes (mostly during garbage time..which there’s been plenty of) with the Knicks. Good to see that work paying off.

Trey Burke has proven to be a nice find as well.

Im rooting for you guys...especially Burke and Hardaway Jr. (Wolverines). Im glad Trey is finding his game. I dig the Iverson braids too.

Hopefully, the Knicks can steal Marvin Bagley. He played with James Harden and Chris Paul on their team at the Drew League. I didn't know who he was at the time. Then, learned he was a high school player. He was out there dominating NBA big men when he was still in high school. He's ready.

Agreed, Bagley is the guy i want. Him or Doncic. Wendell Carter wouldnt upset me as hes a LaMarcus Aldridge type.

Burke needs to learn how to play D and add some muscle. Hes weak on D.

Well Pat Riley felt like writing a book and basically said LeBron pressured him to fire Spoelstra and he didnt give in to his request.

Gotta keep adding fuel to the fire i guess.

    Riley didn’t write the book.

    Ian Thomsen did.

And the stuff with Spo was common knowledge

Actually. Knicks will be in the running for LBJ.

He saw what Beasley can do, he has to be intrigued.

Pelicans in the playoffs! Watch out, this team is dangerous. AD is otherworldly.

Pelicans will sign Lebron in offseason to create the GREATEST FRONTCOURT OF ALL TIME!

It's going to be a wild finish tonight. Only Houston, Golden State, Toronto, Boston, and Indiana are locked in to their seeding.

There really isnt any way of measuring how the last three seeds will finish out in the east. We all play at 8 pm.. i think spo will try to avoid philadelphia in the first round tho so we are gonna tank and take what we get from raptors/celtics. Wizards are gonna take care of business

For the perfect bracket to knock off GSW, I need:
Tonight - Denver wins, Spurs win, OKC wins, & Jazz win.
    That would shakeout as:
    1. Rockets
    2. Warriors
    3. Jazz
    4. Blazers
    5. Spurs
    6. Thunder
    7. Nuggets
    8. Pelicans

Nuggets (2-2), Thunder (2-2), Jazz (3-1) and Rockets (2-1) have all given them problems.

They're tied. Closest to them is 4 games back. It's so close, that if both teams had the tie breaks over the current 5 through 7 seeds, and those teams don't play each other to close their seasons, the winner could be the 5 seed and the loser is out of the playoffs.

What a way to end the season. Wayne ellington almost in tears in post game interview talking about Heat culture. Winslow balling tf out. What a way to send Tony out.

I hope our heat/sixers fan is here during this *** beating the sixers are about to take.

Ellington with most 3 pointers in a single season in Heat history. He was struggling a lot too before tonight. Hopefully the Heat can resign him.

Welp, we set ourselves up for possibly the toughest matchup in the east. I can see it going six games. Im just not sure it was wise to win this game but it is wht it is.

Glad Pelicans don’t play Rockets (yet). I really don’t enjoy watching them shoot foul shots.

Meh...I wanted the Pelicans first round. But, I'll take Minnesota. Rockets went 4-0 against them with an average margin of victory of 15 points.

GSW will run thru the Spurs though. I don't like that. They won't see competition until Portland in the 2nd round. Portland beat them 2-1 this year.

    On another note,

Give that man Exec of the Year.

Woj Bomb: Knicks firing hornacek....which is good cause i was never a fan of his.

I really hope they dont try and get Doc Rivers or his crappy son who is even worse as a player then his dad as a coach. Prefer no Mark Jackson either. That of course means that those two are probably their top 2 choices since the knicks like to make stupid basketball decisions.

I do hope they pursue either David Fizdale or David Blatt (who has ties to Knicks front office man Steve Mills from their time at Princeton). Fizdale is the preference tho Blatt would not upset me. Also wouldnt mind Jason Kidd though his rotations seemed suspect. One of the NY papers also floated a reunion with JVG a few weeks ago which would be fantastic.

Lol while it’s a win/win for me, I’d be shocked if the Heat win more than one game against the Sixers.... big talent gap between each teams, and the Heat are on the **** end of that stick.

15 game win streak. (A lot of it without Embiid)
Fultz decides to drop a triple double last game of year.
Ben Simmons already one of the premier PGs in the NBA.
Saric is a fantastic stretch 4 and extremely underrated.
    The Embiid Return.
52 Win season and the best players on the team are in year 1 and 2 of their playing careers. Quite amazing really.

To Dragic, Wade, and the rest of the Expendables... I love you guys but good luck.

Knicks have reached out to Jay Wright about the HC job. That would be a fantastic hire for NYK.

Lol theyre the knicks, theyd still mess it up as long as dolan was in charge.

Wright resisted the urge to leave a year ago when Phoenix wanted him but he is a local guy. It would take a lot but they knicks are never shy about spending money. The question is does he want to stay at Nova so badly to turn them in to "the duke of the northeast" as wright himself once said, or does he want to be the guy who turned the knicks around?

The last college coach the knicks hired was Pitino when they pulled him from Providence.

Hell, why not go get Pitino again. Wright would be a great hire though.

Also, Vogel is available. I think he would be better than Blatt.

I think Pitino had his fill of the pros though with the scandal he had at louisville, the only job he may get is in the pros. I think Pitino is really one of those guys who wants to have things done his way with his system.

Vogel is ok, i wouldnt mind him...i just dont think hes on their radar. Nor so i think hes better then Blatt. And like i said, Blatt is going to have the inside track because he and Knicks President Steve Mills played at Princeton together.
