Gilbert is such a massive tool. He never deserved LeBron, and absolutely deserves what this team will once again become. And to think, some random guy on twitter was trying so hard to tell me I was wrong when I said Cavs fans should blame Gilbert if LeBron leaves.

Dolan vs Gilbert is a tough choice for worst owner.

Considering Gilbert is also a bad person, I say him. Dolan is incompetent and a trust fund kid. He just doesn't want the stress of a sports team. Gilbert is a predatory loan shark who thinks he's justified in being an ******* and never wrong for some reason.

Yeah. I'd say the baseless entitlement gives the edge to Gilbert.

Dolans also a meddlesome tool with a drinking problem and thinks playing Eagles covers somehow makes him a musician. You can flip a coin. Dolan does have 1 redeeming quality....hes not cheap. I mean he will overpay like no ones business.

James Dolan is an idiot and an embarrassment to the NBA. The league will improve significantly the moment he leaves and I say this as a die hard Heat fan.

I really don't get why Gilbert thinks so highly of himself. He can't stand that LeBron is the reason people like the Cavs; his ego won't allow it. Dan Gilbert wants to be the face of the team like Elon Musk is the face of Tesla, but he has no personality or grand accomplishments. He's also a nasty guy. It's baffling to be honest.

Yeah, it's hard to understand. The guy literally and figuratively won the lottery (what, 4 times?), and was unable to capitalize off of that, with the exception of one year in which the guy he chastised publicly years before (along with some luck) single-handedly won it all.

More likely, the reported deal wasn't real. The sources reporting it weren't all that credible. I doubt a small injury that won't keep him out of even training camp will nix a deal. If you liked Ball enough to trade for him, this shouldn't dissuade you from it.

Woj says DeAndre Jordan is opting out. That should mean he's headed to Dallas. I doubt he'd have opted out if he didn't know he was getting a good deal somewhere.

Bummer for the Heat bc Whiteside could have been their fall back if they couldn't get any of the big FA centers.

The NBA could use a good product in New York. I'd much rather see the Knicks rise than the cocky *** Lakers. This from a die hard Heat fan that witnessed first hand the Heat Knick days and the heartbreak that came with it.

Yeah, too many guys available. Cousins, Capela, Randle, and Jordan. You don't have to give up assets to get any of them.

He'd have to have a nice first half to be traded by the deadline, IMO. And at that point, would Miami still want to trade him? They still might be able to move him for another bad contract this offseason, but I think it's far more likely they move him next offseason when he's on an expiring deal.

Would be funny if Dallas says they'll sign him to a big contract and then they back out at the last minute

Its either we start looking for ways to offload on all these bad contracts or we wait two years and start over again as a franchise. But we are headed to bad mediocre times for the next two seasons.

I think they'll definitely look to offload some of these deals (Whiteside and TJ particularly), but they may not be able to without adding their good young players, or a pick as sweeteners. And I'm not sure I'd do that. Hopefully Riley can work some magic to get people to take these deals.

If you can't, I'd sell off Dragic for a pick or young player, because as much as I love him on the Heat, like you said, the next two years will be mediocre at best. I'd rather start building for the future now if they can't get an all-star type.

If Riley doesn’t sneak trade for Kawhi (still have unreasonable hope this happens) we need to trade our all star PG, give justise, bam, and j rich all of teh minutes and hopefully either tank hard or watch our young guns take the next step. Win win either way. I’d rather we try to boost whitesides value this season by the deadline if he has it in him and send his *** out.

Sign klay next year, or tank one more year and wait until 2020 when there is a nice list of FAs.

Above all, make sure our unprotected pick Philly owns is a late 1st and worth jack ****.

Weird how durant turned down 5 years 200 million and instead went with a 1 and 1 contract. Maybe he has intentions on leaving eventually?

4 years 137 million for PG, player option in the third year which he will likely opt out and get that ridiculous CP3 money.
