Where would you guys take this guy and what do you see as his potential this year?

I thought Kenny Watson was going to be the main guy? I could be wrong.

I would be frightened off by that situation. Usually, I'm a bit worrisome by dual RB threats, but this is a tri-pod.

Well I guess it's either Perry or Johnson. I think Watson will still see some time too. If Rudi is injured still for the 1st game, I'd be interested to see how he does starting week 1 If he does, then I might pick him up on the FA list.

I regard Cincy's RB situation the same way I do Oakland's: stay the hell away unless you absolutely need someone. But for what it's worth, I have Rudi Johnson on one fantasy team and Chris Perry on the other.

Either draft both or draft neither. Thats how I treated it. I have an 18 team league and did just that.

Perry lacks break away speed but hes got more upside then Watson who is just a live body. Johnson has some heavy miles on those legs and hes a plodder. There may be a changing of the guard there. It gets even more complicated if last years 2nd rounder, Kenny irons, returns.

The Cincy RBBC looks like a mess. Honestly, I would not draft him and wait for the first week to see how things unfold and/or the minute Lewis declares a starter for opening week. I had Rudi Johnson on one team but solely because it was 4th to last possible pick.

this just got interesting...Cincy has been offering Rudi Johnson around for a WR. The answer just became Chris Perry and a hope that Rudi gets dealt to a team that will use him 15-20x a game.

Chris Perry is definitely the guy now. If you've got Rudi, dump him.

I truly do not believe that Rudi will start the season on the Bengal roster even. I see Perry as a very very good bargain right now.

I have no faith in Perry's health. Watson would be my choice to eventually keep the job.

Ironically, Rudi is the guy coming off injury.

Marvin Lewis said he would start Perry over Johnson, and I believe him. I've dumped Rudi and added Chris Perry in the one or two instances necessary.

Last I've heard Rudi is being cut as we speak.

I own Perry in six out of my seven leagues and am waiting on this situation dearly. If it comes to fruition (sad for Rudi though), I'll add a major back to my rotation.

At this point Perry looks like a decent 3 RB.

Many of the better FF players here can still add him to be their 5th RB and make trades utilizing him.

It's official, Rudi has been cut and now it's only down to predicting who gets how many carries. From what I can guess, the team will likely run the ball just a bit more than last season. I can see Perry getting 17 attempts per game, while Watson should receive about 12-13 attempts per game. Perry should average 25 yards on the ground. All goal-line will go to Perry. Thus, Perry should get close to eight TDs on the ground and one more through the air.

Overall he's about a 1500 yards from scrimmage, 9 TD back.
