Lies at the feet of the OL and the offence in general and the head coach who is an offensive guy. You can’t be that inept as a unit. The OL is just awful. The QB is careless under pressure and we have garbage cans and pylons along the OL. That’s a front office issue. The whole unit is bad. It needs to be fixed. And it’s too late now

Well, there's no taking Tannehill's responsibility out of this game. He was terrible in the second half.

Exactly. The whole unit. The OL. The WRs don’t seem to want to block either. The QB. The coaches. The play calling. The entire offensive unit is a disaster. It’s not just the qb. Or the OL. It’s all of them together. They stink as a group

Again I blame the coaches... We got incapable backups, Gase repeatedly shows me he can't adjust. I dunno man Aaron Rodgers and company can figure it out on one leg...

Tannehill has 3 plays to audible to when he gets to line of scrimmage. On third down it always seems to pick the wrong choice.
If its 3 and 6 he throws a 3 yd pass hoping the wr or rb breaks about 10 tackles to pick up the first down.Today its 3rd and 1 and he basically throws a hail mary that kenny stills had no chance at.How often do you see him throw a strike pass the marker? When the pocket breaks down the play is over because he has zero pocket presence. How you can deny this is beyond me.I watch other qbs such as daulton today make plays under pressure.Tannehill does not process the info fast enough.

Ryan isn’t a good QB unless his surroundings are perfect. He’s good enough to manage a competent offense, but we do not have a competent offense.

So why the hell should we keep him or Gase next year?

    I’ll hang up and listen

When we were winning, all I saw on here was Tannehill was 10-1 in his last 11 starts. He was given all the credit when we won...so, he damn sure is going to get all of the blame for the losses. I don't want to hear about the oline or any other position. The $100 mil man better produce, take a major paycut, or get the hell off the team.

Umm yeah, but Tannehill gets most of the blame IMO. A pick 6 (he did NOT have to throw that damn ball at a linesman), another one recorded as a fumble lost, and just simply NO ability to lead the team to points when we needed it.

    We need a new QB.

btw.. that sample size with Tannehill's passer rating is getting closer to that 150 threshold. It's at 129 now and his rating is now 92.9, which is just slightly below current league average.

Even before the tunsil injury you have to see what we did. Only 10 points in a game where you were dominating on the ground. You made 2 terrible play calls that killed drives on 3rd and shorts. Your QB had what 150 yds passing??? Vanilla and terrible. Falls squarely on Gase and the QB.

I’m going with they all suck.

Gase and Ryan have been major dissapointments in my eyes so far.

Our defense has been victimized by that garbage *** unit.

There is also a history of players that have been either traded or let go recently that express how much they love to be out of Miami. Looking more and more like its the environment that’s the issue not the player.

This is spot on. Burke has done a good job with the defense. The emotional spirals and complete ineptitude on offense is all on Gase.

I was calling for Jackson, too, because I wanted to watch an exciting brand of football. My initial thoughts were he could sit and learn from RT this year, and we could bring him in on spot duty if we needed a spark or RT got dinged. I am not sure how he is doing for the Ravens, but I would really have loved to see Jackson today when we could have used a guy to make things happen. Not saying that I am unhappy with Fitzpatrick. I love the guy. I just think we need a QB for the future, that's all. The days of having a statue for a QB are over. With the speed of the NFL getting faster and faster. You need an real athlete at QB that can make things happen when the protection breaks down.

He has been the qb for 7 years dude! Its always the coaches fault,or no line,or no skill players. How about he is just a border line average qb.
Look what the chiefs had to foresight to do.Alex smith is better than tannehill but they saw an upgrade and they jumped on it.Time for us to at least attempt it.This guy makes nobody better on the team.Time to move on.

A lot of this comes down to the terrible personnel decisions made by Gase, Tannenbaum and Grier in the offseason. They decided to go out and sign aging and broken down linemen. They decided to stick with Tannehill. They decided to stick with Devante Parker. They should all be fired.

Why even play football if you are Sam Young. You know how bad you are, should retire and stop embarrassing yourself. Needs to pull a Vontae Davis. Put in your letter on the plane and go do something else with your life jeeeeesus.....

There are definitely huge problems with personnel. No depth, little talent, and yeah...Parker is who again?

Thill had plenty if poor plays that cost us, but still the biggest problem IS the oline. Its not going to improve either, but I will guarantee you one thing if they draft a QB before fixing the line you are wasting a pick. It's pointless.

Question: If in round 1, next year, you have a choice between a so-called franchise QB or an OL, you are going to take an OL?

Me? If someone more than decent is there, I am going QB all the way. To me, that doesn't mean RT is done. He can either groom his replacement on the field or hold the clipboard off. It's up to him.

If you have the choice you have to grab the QB. But if you do nothing to address the line you will not see any marked improvement either. At this point I dont see ANY college QB that is worth it yet.

I don't know of any guys either, I was talking hypothetically. If there isn't a guy worth it, then as you said, we need to address the OL. The other day when I asked what people preferred (an all-pro OC, or OG) that was why. We need to bolster both sides of the trench and the younger and more talented the better.

We went that way with Jake Long instead of Matt Ryan 10 years ago. Now I'm no fan of Ryan's but that would have been the better choice.

I totally agree with all those individuals on this forum who have stated that the OL is terrible. Yet that doesn’t change the fact that Tannehill has never been anything but a bottom tier starting QB in the NFL and he needs to be replaced with a new QB once this season is over if not before.

Gase hadn’t been an effective play caller since he had Manning as his starting QB in Denver. With each week it becomes more apparent that it was obviously Manning and not Gase who was responsible for the great year Manning had while Gase was the OC in Denver.

The next front office and coaching staff will obviously have to severely upgrade the OL and the DL, but if the next coach wants to keep his job in Miami, his first priority has to be to bring in his own QB
to replace Tannehill. Because it is now becoming quite clear that what Tannehill is best at is ensuring the the HC of the Dolphins doesn’t remain the HC for very long.

Gase is 100% responsible for the players on this roster. He got rid of some very talented players and replaced them with his type players. He has also stuck by the very mediocre Tannehill while avoiding drafting a QB. So whatever happens this year is completely on Gase.

Gase was hired because he was suppose to be an offensive genius and his ability to improve the play of the QB. He seems to have failed in both of these areas and I just wonder how Ross can justify keeping him as the HC if the Dolphins don’t make the playoffs this year.
