That's all I wanted. 24 hours to enjoy an epic team win. Right down to the rookie kicker beating out Parkey, and then showing why AGAIN in crunchtime...

24 hrs to enjoy it without a bunch of Thill sucks stick with Osweiller, fire Drake the D is awful bull puckey threads. All I was asking for...

Just 24 hrs to celebrate an epic team win.

And you Malafala's couldn't let it happen. :pity::pity:

Some people just ain't happy unless they ain't happy I guess.

    :nono:

I'm not going to intentionally crap over any one else's parade, certainly. However, I'm also not going to let the fact that the team keeps pulling big plays out of their rear end during the second half of home games blind me to the fact that there are a lot of problems, and the team could just as easily be 1-5 as they are 4-2.

We all want it to be better.

That was an epic game and like I said in other threads, I was past the point of worrying whether we won or lost. The offensive line was freaking outstanding and Gore played like a man possessed. If I wanted to go negative then I'd mention that it's obvious we need another corner, but that only stood out because we were dominating everywhere else on the field. Jones, McMillian, Kiko, Howard, etc. were all playing at extremely high levels.

Osweiler's poise impressed the heck out of me- that's all I was really trying to say there. I don't think he's better than Tannehill but he was better yesterday. We were just under 50% on 3rd down conversions and that's been our biggest problem the entire season. That entire offense deserves huge props for earning a team win against a very talented Bears organization.

You know, I’m kind of getting fed up with my job. Seems like all we hear from our management is what we aren’t doing, how we need to start doing this, that or the other...we busy our butts and our overall numbers, the main metrics show we’re doing a great job. We never hear that. All we hear is the negative and the job isn’t as fun as it used to be.

Kind of the same thing with the Dolphins. Overall metrics, 4-2 and what do we hear? The same crap I hear at my own job. Maybe if we as fans congratulated the TEAM for working their butts off and never giving up, they might actually enjoy their job...and be motivated to consistently play good football.

    Just a thought folks

Both at work in real life and when I watch sports, I am much more concerned about the details and HOW things got to where they are than I am the bottom line results. In both, I need to see that things are being done in a responsible, sustainable way. A good, smart plan that comes up short is better than a wacky day that ends with a victory, in either case.

I can't speak to your job but in sports, Miami's sustainable path is speed and violence on defense (especially in the red zone). While we don't have the offense fully figured out, Wilson and Gore are stepping up huge and leading by example. I think that's all you can ask of your club given the injuries and setbacks we've had.

Lot's of team pull big plays out at the end of games. All of those formations and other looks set that all up. You discount the prime and when the pump delivers you can't even see the prime.

New England won on a similar big play to Gronk last night...and they're done it over and over again for the past decade. I'll take the "W" any day of the week....any team would.

Pulling a big play out of your *** is called finding a way to win when a team that isn't ours does it.

While I understand what you are saying, at work, there are things your employees are doing right. They have to be if they are indeed achieving the desired end result. It's the same with the Dolphins...even more so if you truly think about it.

In football, you have opposition trying to prevent you from accomplishing your task where at work, accomplishing the task merely involves completing unopposed steps.

Constant negativity breeds negativity where the occasional pat on the back for a job well done and acknowledging the effort put forth goes a long way.

If you want to be happy about a win and enjoy it, you need to stop linking your emotional happiness with the way others behave on the internet. You control your happiness, don't let others typing on a keyboard dictate how you feel.

Sounds like you work for the same type of people I work for. new production line started 1 year ago with 200 pcs in 8hours the goal. Kept upping it to 250, 300, 350. Now we run 400 in 8 hours and never a "good job" or anything. If I wasn't too old to go somewhere else I would be out of there.

Nobody dictates How I flippin feel. Just like nobody can dictate how I call out all the loser mentality whiny little beaches who can't be bothered to enjoy the moments meant to be enjoyed. That was a great team win by my lifelong favorite team on a day when NOBODY, me included, gave us a prayer of a chance.

    SO...

I don't see how anyone can be down after that game- it was one of the best match-ups we've had in years. The Bears are one of the league's elite teams right now and we simply out-played them...that was a statement game if I ever saw one.

Let’s hope the vibe in the stadium is electric this week and grateful that we’re in the thick of everything..

It would be nice to see our fans really get behind a team from kickoff on..really take it serious, the building has the potential to be electric, it just needs the fans participation.

The next 2 games are winnable. To finish the 1st half of the season at 6-2 would quite an accomplishment with all of the injuries we've had.

To me, the Texans on the road, on a Thursday night, is probably the biggest challenge of the season (besides being @NE). I am really looking forward to both these games and I agree, 6-2 would be an amazing start. I'm not going to pout though if we come out of this span 5-3.

By the way, the Pats have the Bears this Sunday...it will be a good gauge of where we are compared to the Patriots.

I agree. When the schedule came out in April, I looked at the Houston game as the second most difficult one of the year. Being on the road on Thursday night is enough all by itself, and then you add in our historical ineptitude in the stadium, and the fact that we can't defend running QBs, it gets ugly. Plus, remember how Watt shut down our offense all by himself during RT17s first start.

Winning this Sunday at home is huge.

Except we are due to of learned a lesson from some previous experiences on that nite..

We are playing at home this week they are not so that helps us a bit..

Albert Wilson said the team was feeling themselves too much against the pats, said they thought their sh## didn’t stink and they got whupped..

Last year against the bills after the pats victory the team came out and disgraced the coach, coach citing several times that he was fed up with that specifi performance and needed to find players that wouldn’t perform like that in those situations.

With Brock starting that game, and the team kind of rallying around him, I think that game is winnable

Every game is winnable. But short week, on the road, 8th game, no bye yet. Its about as rough a combo as we could ask for. At least its indoors.

Jay Glazer reported that Deshaun Watson is dealing with a cracked rib and bruised lung; his lung partially collapsed in the Week Six win over the Cowboys. They play the Jags this weekend so he might come out of that game really sore and not apt to be a running QB so much. They allow a lot of hits on the QB.

I'm sorry but Brock was just not giving me any warm fuzzies. He played outta his mind and maybe there was some weird majic mojo against Da Bears we seem to have, and he also has, that combined to get us a win. But yeah, I started drinking early.
And everyone is crazy, some of us just hide it better. Or have better health insurance.
