So are head to head shots on defenseless receivers like Gesicki was earlier.. but naw... this crew must have been hanging out in a back alley somewhere smoking crack when the NFL hired them. They're awful. Just awful all game.

 

Osweilers accuracy is badly off this game. Will a real Dolphins QB please stand up..

These are the worst. The literally worst officiating I have ever seen.

 

His accuracy downfield is why he's not a good QB.

 

I have to get up and go to work no one cares about your meaningless rules that have no effect on the game at all.

 

That is some of the strangest officiating I've ever seen.

 

Mind boggling to me. They call a meaningless penalty on the kneel down... but not the helmet to helmet hit on Gesicki, or many of the other blown calls so far. It's insane.

 

If there's a call to be made, the refs must make it, regardless of it's effect on the game, or they will be downgraded.

 

They should focus on calling the basic penalties. These refs took some dabs before the game started.

 

Man this reffing is terrible.

Brock has made a few throws but overall is showing clearly why he is a backup and not very good. WRs having a good overall game. The jig is up, offenses know we suck at run defense. Giesieki or whatever his name is needs to learn how to run past the damn first down marker. We should be down more than we are. That Brock fumble/throw thing that got overturned ... baby what is you doing!?!?!?!

 

Didnt McCain sign a huge extension? That's awesome. For him. Sucks for Fins fans.

 

What a crazy game- the refs are horrible! They've missed dozens of holding calls on Wake, Grant, etc. yet they keep paying us back with other phantom BS calls that didn't happen. I'm almost scared to watch the 2nd half since is will undoubtedly involve yet another kickoff.

By the way, I would have called that a Brock fumble personally. It was a very tough call but to me it looked like his throwing motion stopped since his hand flipped upside-down. But even if it was a pass, then it was a lateral pass behind the LOS and still a live ball...isn't it? I don't know the correct call there but we caught a huge break.

 

So we've seen Tannehill have these exact same games, is that proof that he is a back up too?

 

I get that... but the point is if you're making that call... how are you missing and not calling the blatant trip, the head shot on gesicki, the blatant hold on Wake that was ten times worse than the one he drew the play before, or the PI on Amendola... the list goes on. These guys have been downright awful all night. Getting a call "right" on a meaningless play isn't a positive. There's enough already in this game IMO to warrant all of them facing some sort of discipline, and I've only highlighted the ones against us, there's plenty that have gone the other way too.

No matter how you slice it, this crew is awful.

 

Maybe Tannehill shoulder will be miraculously healed he will come out and start the 3rd. Rand QB college style.

No argument there (besides the hit on Gesicki which I felt the defender turned his shoulder and the helmet contact was incidental) I was just explaining why they must even call the most ticky-tack of fouls.

 

Oz is taking a lot of big hits...anyone's accuracy would be off. I'm surprised he's still on the field to be honest.

 

Both Watt and Wake are getting held just about every darn play. I know they can't call them all because the game would never end, but it's almost silly how bad this crew is.

 

Nothing to do with the hits IMO. He's just not that good. He's missed throws just like those in the last two games too.

 

I don't know.....did you really expect him to convert on 3rd and 10 after the defensive TD turned incomplete pass and that huge hit? I sure wasn't.

 

Agreed. His accuracy has always been dreadful past 10 yards.

Awful defense. Both guys in coverage can't go chase the QB... Someone still has to cover the WR
