The fact he found a job after last season was unbelievable. Time for a career change after tonight. Yikes

I have a few friends that are big Bears fans and I had to text condolences. As soon as he made the first try right at the timeout, I just felt a sense of dread coming on. Un-freaking-believable. I'd be surprised if he's not fired tonight...that was his 7th time hitting the goal post this season (according to my friend the Bears fan).

Man, they must be livid right now.

Browsing the Bears message boards makes us look tame in comparison.. Several of the gems:

    "Trubisky for draft picks"
"Will Nagy ever win a playoff game"
    "Parkey must DIE"

Here's the thing- who did worse this season? The 7-9 Dolphins or the 12-4 Bears who lost the Wild Card on a fluke play? From a fan's perspective, I'm guessing the Bears are a heck of a lot angrier than we are. It really all comes down to perspective.

It should have been their year though...I feel for Chicago after that ridiculousness.

Not a fan of Trubisky. He reminds me of Ryan in the pocket.. Doesn't have that quick twitch trigger. I know it's year 2 but I don't think he'll ever be a top 15 QB.

If they lose Vic Fangio to the Dolphins I guarantee you Bears fans will feel a lot worse lol.

Yeah, their D was really humming tonight. We haven't seen stunts like that in a very long time in Miami....I don't think I'd mind Fangio one bit!

LMAO, I absolutely love watching over-the-top hotheads like that. I mean, I was rooting hard for the Bears but I still have to laugh at that...it was comical.

The real question is...how fast does Cody Parkey get out of town this evening? If I'm him, I am already on the highway heading out of state. He may actually get his *** whipped if he stays in Chicago tonight.

Tough break for Parkey! Holy crap, i'm an Eagles fan whenever Miami is out of the picture so I was pulling for Philly, but damn....Oh well, he's a rich man and i'm sure he'll get over it, but what a crappy way to let your team down. Chi town fans are livid and rightfully so. I honestly thought they had a legit shot at the Super Bowl this year with how amazing that defense is. Holy crap! Philly survived, and I hope they can pull one out in the Big Easy next week. Gonna be tough, i'd say their season ends. On another note, how impressive is Nick Foles? Time and time again he gets it done in the most pressure packed moments.

Nick foles is the man and he is an impending free agent. We should sign him then draft a franchise QB in 2020.

He's signing a long term contract, hopefully not with Miami.

I mean when you make a job app as a kicker and the highlight is hitting posts from far away... what do you expect him to do? he literally sent them a video of what he's good at.

Ya know the thing is, I saw a video of that kick in super slow mo and it looks like one of the Eagles players got a hand on that ball. Just enough to deflect it a little. May not really be on Parkey and more a great defensive play.

Nice! This one shows it frame by frame to show he really did deflect it.

Phew, that replay may just save Parkey's life (and not in a football sense).

Are you guys kidding me? Parkey is a FANTASTIC kicker. I mean think about it...think about how difficult it is to hit the upright, not once, twice or three times but he did it 7 times this year.

Talk about being able to hit such a small target lol!!!

He hit it 6 times this year:
    https://thecomeback.com/nfl/bears-eagles-cody-parkey-nbc.html

The more impressive stat is that he hit the upright 4 times in one game this year!! I have absolutely NO idea what the chances of that are, but that has to be one of the most unlikely things to happen ever in the NFL.

    A. Parkey's kick was touched by a defender, as has already been pointed out. B. He was the reason why Chicago even had a chance to begin with.

Welcome to the life of a kicker.

It was 43 yds. Parkey was kicking at a lower angle like it was from 50+ yds. The blocking could have been better, but he choked when it mattered most. He needs to take his guaranteed money and flee Chicago. Philly would give him a heroes welcome, till he missed a kick.
