It's a good move for the Cowboys to partner Lawrence and Quinn together. As for us, it is going to be a tough season if we don't find pass rushing production from other talent either currently on the roster or soon to be added to it.
Hearing a conditional 2020 6th rounder? Could go up to a 4th rounder based on production/playing time? It we end up with a 5th rounder in 2020 I'd call it a good trade, but if it stays a 6th rounder? Not so much. Although trading up would be a lot easier with all those picks in 2020.
Getting a bag of Doritos for a player we were going to cut is an excellent deal....let alone a 6th round pick.
I've lost count now, let's say this is a 6th rounder, then what picks do we currently have for the 2020 draft?
Also tons of consolation picks with losing all these starters next year we will have 1 MILLION picks!! This year however is going to be very rough fitz running around tossing pick 6 and touchdowns, defense playing break and break defense, and our RB getting stuffed like a whore on tax refund day!
Well... if we have to do it, we should do it, but it would be nice if we could get our QB without having to give up a bunch of draft picks. I like having a lot of picks. The draft is a crap shoot anyway, so we need to increase our odds.
Just reading the tea leaves over here, but I really think that we are taking an edge guy with our first pick. If you get a chance to watch any film on them, you will quickly see that the hype is real. I wouldn't be surprised for a second if we spent our first and second round pick on ends honestly. Having the 13th pick offers the distinct possibility of someone falling into our laps. If you want a little more reading of the tea leaves, I think Montez Sweat is our guy.
To be fair that isnt true at all. We had a chance to make the playoffs up until the last few weeks. If he wasnt competing here that reflects poorly upon him not us.
