I really hope Wilson comes back and can still run the way he did before the injury and still get those RAC yards. That would be huge.

    Definitely not.

I’m firmly in the 6-8 win camp for this season.

Our key losses (Quinn, Wake and James) are going to be negated by a better coaching staff. Tannehill/Osweiler vs Fitzpatrick/Rosen is a wash, at least this season. That leaves us with about 6 wins. If we get lucky with injuries it can go up to 8.

We still have a talented roster, not as talented as we would like, but talented nonetheless.

If we can clean up the OL through good coaching then I think there’s enough talent to be above average. This assumes Rosen is not as horrible as his Arizona numbers suggest.

What worries me most about next year is OL and To a slightly lesser extent DL. At the skill positions we seem fairly well stocked.

Honestly, if we generate any sort off pass rush I dont think this season will be horrible unless Fitz/Rosen entirely flop and give games away.

I have a hard time believing our defense wont be fairly capable with anything that resembles a consistent front four. We could be really tough to throw on with Howard, Fitz and Jones fr now?) in the secondary and what is hopefully a better scheme.

Offensively the line cant really be any worse than last year. It could even be better despite the loss of James because it was so bad last season.

I expect more production from the TE position from Allen just because he isnt a rookie like what we basically had last year. His play should even help our line out.

We still have decent(ish) skill position players even if none of them are superstars.

A lot of this season will depend on how our pass rush and QB situation pan out.

ON PAPER, I felt like we could have had one of the top scoring offenses in the league last year. Wilson, Grant, and Stills are all hard to cover, plus we had a stud duo of running backs. It all came down to inconsistency at QB and OL over and over again though- that's almost impossible to fix in one season.

The good news is that we did not get rid of any offensive skill players other than RT, so I think the potential is certainly still there. On one hand, I've caught several podcasts where they've debated it and thought RT > Rosen today...so to me it's just how fast Rosen can get closer to his ceiling in the NFL. RT had all the offensive pieces and couldn't handle pressure while Rosen basically had nothing....so to me this isn't about RT's 17/9 ratio last season or even their QBR's. It all comes down to execution and Tannehill just wasn't reliable.

I think it's impossible to make a prediction for this upcoming season since we have a lot of pieces to fit in the puzzle still. The potential on offense is certainly still there though if we can get some protection for Rosen and he develops favorably. If I had to guess, I'd say 4-5 wins but heck, I could easily be off by 10....who knows? That's why rebuilds with new schemes are so exciting.

The one caveat here is that our head coach shut down an incredibly impressive Rams team just a few months ago with a secondary that's nowhere near as good as Miami's. If we figure out the run D early then this squad could win 8 games on defense alone. I am personally excited to see what happens yet I have virtually no expectations....it will be an interesting year.

we ranked 31st and 30th on offense and defense................ not going from that to top of anything when we lost good players and have 0 depth. stop being such homers. also grant is coming off an achilies they take 1 year to heal, if you even heal to 100%, and grant was a speed guy which affects him even more. Wilson is coming off an injury that has no time table. wishful thinking that these two will be even close to what they were beginning of last year. just being real. sorry i can't be a homer with rose coloured glasses but this team is bad. it'll be a miracle to get 6 wins.

If they win 6 games with Rosen starting all 16 games I will be ecstatic.

Please stop with the "8-10 wins you never know" predictions. This team is still bad with many, many uncertainties.

Our coaching last year was pathetic. The injury bug didn’t help. With a couple good free agent pickups we will be a better team? It appears the schedule is harder than last year? The o line will be better than last year. Qb also. Defense lost old wake and quin. Our coach killed the rams on defense in the bowl. So the defense might have less talent? But with way better coaching the defense might actually be better than last year. I can see the team only winning 6 games or 10 games. You never know how things will shake out? We had a good team last year. Coaching and injuries killed us. Good coaching and less injuries could offset the talent we lost. Heck we still got parker and harris. Oh that doesn’t help my argument does it. Go fins.
Can’t trash the team before they deserve it?

10 is pretty unreasonable to expect. I actually dont think 8 is out of the realm of possibility.

Our roster isnt as bad as some people would suggest. We just have holes in very specific places.

Um....I said 4-5 wins and you said 6....but I'm the homer with rose colored glasses?

What I did is called being objective while showing possible upside. No reason for the hate and name calling when Dolphins fans actually hope the Dolphins figure out ways to win. How is that not an obvious here?

There's not a person here who didn't love Wake and I doubt there's anyone happy to see him gone. We do have to face facts though and admit that he can't keep that pace forever. I don't think he's a huge net loss other than how we feel about the guy.

With that said, I hope he's the league's sack leader this year and shocks everyone. I'll always be a massive fan!

As you lot are arguing with how many wins and people too high or low then I will unite you all in disbelief.

16 wins. Super Bowl. We're unstoppable.

Rosen is going to win MVP.

Flores is going to bring back teams looking at defensive coaches for the top jobs.

Seriously though, this hype video has served it's job.

    Rosen elected president in 2020.

Flores becomes Commissioner of NFL AND head coach of Miami.

We win with such dominance that NFL grants us an extra win (by decree of new commissioner Flores).

Jakeem Grant and Albert Wilson combined compile enough stats to surpass Jerry Rice's career totals in the span of one season.
