Last year, the makers of Biomutant took E3 off because they were more interested in watching the World Cup. We've heard next to nothing about the game since, but its rumored to be coming out later this summer, so I'm hoping to hear more this week. I'm also hoping to hear more about Greedfall, and if it will be releasing later this year. Things have been very quiet from that developer as well. Most of the other titles I'm interested in are probably not coming out on this generation of consoles.
I absolutely love the idea. I'll buy it on day one. Reminds me of Uncharted in a Star Wars setting. The graphics seem to need a good bit of polish still though, and the control of the character looks like it might need to be tightened up a bit.
https://www.dualshockers.com/greedfall-story-trailer-september-release/ Greedfall will release in September.
Grandia HD Remaster has been announced for Switch and PC; the existing Grandia 2 version available on Steam will be renamed Grandia II HD Remaster, and a new remaster of Grandia 1 will be shown at E3. I AM ALL OVER THIS ONE.
There's an unusual amount of leaks and pre-show confirmations this year. I think this lends credence to the idea that we're going to get announcements of new services or platforms. Companies are trying to get their announcements out early to avoid being lost in the hype.
Anyone else ready for Todd Howard to tell sweet, gentle lies for an hour? I am. Lie to me, Todd. Tell me it'll all be OK. Tell me Fallout 76 is good. Lie to me.
I'm going to hold out hope that Starfield will be out with the new consoles next Autumn. And then ES6....eventually....
The Bethesda show sucked. They're turning into EA. And what is with this trend of companies showing CG movie trailers instead of actual gameplay? Doom Eternal is the only game that showed off real game footage. Bonus points for the announcements of Microsoft Flight Simulator and Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition, though.
