I don't know if you guys have paid any attention to the TNT sign that the Dolphins have installed under Flores. If you are unfamiliar, any player that commits an infraction that "takes no talent," has to run, touch the sign, and come back. These infractions include things like, botching snaps, lining up improperly, etc.

This could all be coach-speak, but I for one am baffled by the fact that a coaching staff that has been with the team for mere months has a better grasp of the team than the guy who was here for three years.

I cannot tell you how frustrated I got with false start penalties killing drives. We were not and are not capable of overcoming these penalties. We struggled to get 10 yards on drives and because of these penalties, we had to all of a sudden get 15. How about when we went from 3rd and manageable to third and long because someone committed a foul that did not require talent.

How many times on defense did we have our opponents on the ropes only to let them off the hook? Godchaux is a solid player, but he jumps offsides way too much.

If teams are more talented than us, and they beat us, that is fine with me. But we simple cannot give our opponents victories. I think this emphasis on the fundamentals is exactly what we need.

For sure. I only wish we saw a reduced amount of holding penalties this season, they are absolute drive killers. A man can hope.

Flores has the wall to run to... meanwhile Adam Gase has an actual live Dj at practice...

Doesn’t matter for Gase, he doesnt coach in the field anyways..I’m just thankful he is is no longer here.

I choose to believe in my instinct..Flores is the guy..

Don't hurt the team with stupid penalties and players will be held accountable? Sounds good to me. A disciplined team can help close any talent gap we might have on both sides of the ball. If the OL and DL were better, I'd feel pretty good about the season right now. We are weakest in the trenches, the foundation for building a team (outside of having a really talented QB).

There’s a difference between o coach chewing you out in practice and having to run to the wall.

One is intangible and something you learn to tune out easily.
The other is physical and visible to your peers.

One is requesting the pkayers to pretty pleade be self disciplined, or not if you don’t really want to.
    The other is enforcing disciline.

I forget people can’t hear the sarcasm in my voice. Was just joking around. You are normally really articulate. So it was extra funny.
