A lot of the anti-Clemson stuff that was posted here has not aged well.

As a Wolfpacker, I recognize it's Clemson and the remaining dwarves in the ACC this year. You have another deep team and the best qb in college football. Anyway, I'm looking forward to 11/9 when my Tiger buddies come up from Georgia and Florida to tailgate in Raleigh.

Forget Tua, I want Lawrence with the Dolphins.

If Tua doesn't declare next year (and there's a chance he won't due to family input), then it could be Tua vs Lawrence in the draft 2021. So unless the Dolphins decide they want Fromm, Love or whomever, or they decide it HAS to be 2020, then they could opt to spend one more year with Rosen etc. build up even more picks (while trying to fortify other areas) and aim for one of the big 2021 names....

Well, the nation’s #1 recruiting class comes in next year, so logistically your statement isn’t possible, sorry.

The # recruiting class doesnt mean much honestly, its how the players come together.

You're quoting a hell of an old post though lol

    It’s from 2019, not 3 years old.

Feel free to tell me in a couple of years that the ranking # of this 2020 class didn’t mean much. Spoiler- it’s Clemson’s best class of all time.

From a Miami fan let me tell you great classes can turn out poorly.

FWIW I don't know why I said that then, I must have been salty about something. I don't want you to fail and I'm not predicting you will lol

Definitely. I understand how highly regarded classes can suddenly disappoint. Fortunately for Clemson fans, Dabo’s recruiting classes aren’t like that. Regardless of our recent success, Dabo still only recruits and takes kids who fit the Clemson way, want to be part of the family (which is very demanding), and want to All-In (which is also very demanding). With this current 2020 group, Dabo has managed to bring in Clemson-material guys who also happen to be the most talented in the country, which is scary.

He and his staff have always been able to recognize the underrated 3 & 4 star kids (which is a big reason behind Clemson’s success under Dabo), but this recruiting cycle is featuring more elite players than ever before, and they’ve already formed bonds with each other. We’re talking about the:
    QB #1
    RB #2
    DE #1 and likely #2
    DT #1, #2, #7
    LB #1 (most likely ours)
    CB #3
    S #3

OL -probably the strongest group we’ve ever had (Parks should earn his 5th star at OT, plus the #4, #5, #8 guards)

WR- a Canadian kid dripping with 5-star talent

Can you imagine Brent Venables with the 4 best DL recruits in the country, the best LB of the past 3 or 4 years, and a phenomenal 5-star cover corner, all in the same class?... plus the offense getting the #1 QB and the nation’s most explosive RB?

Clemson got a scare this weekend, but good teams overcome those things.

Lawrence sucks so they should just bench him when they come to Raleigh. Now to think of it, just bench Etienne. He sucks too.
