I hope he has the game of his career this Sunday. Ex-Fins always seem to do it to us - would like to see it go the other way.
Chad Pennington just does not want the Jets to know he is coming for them and he will sneak attack. I really hope he can be productive I think he wil be able to. Come on Chad Pennington I know you got it in you.
Just out of curiosity - if he does step up and take the Jets down Sunday will you be here to acknowledge it?
man oh man... wouldnt that be sweet! seeing the jets, and crybaby favre going down in a ball of flames at the hands of Chad Pennington and the Dolphins! Even better if Chad threw to the sidelines... and DEEP to ginn all day... all the things Jets fans say he's terrible at. Only thing that could make it better is if it was in New York... so all the Jets fans would have to suffer through us slaughtering them... haha... oh one can wish...
I should amend to say that I hope Sunday's game is only bested by week 17's game - to be even more fitting if it were a tiebreaker to put Miami in the playoffs and keep the Jets out. I can dream...
Absolutely true. He is a team player first and foremost. Possibly to the detriment of his career. If can be protected and surrounded by weapons, he can do very well and frustrate defenses. BZ
If not, he'll only frustrate the fan base. It's one thing to watch dink and dunk when you winning games, it's another to watch it when you losing.
Have already stated that I will be way back in my joining of this site in May. Will I be here 30 seconds after the game ends? No. Win or loss for the Jets I won't be. I'll be watching the 4pm game. But that night or Monday morning? Sure, I'll be here W or L.
Most of us "cross-board-jet-fans" come back after a win or loss. Been doing it for years and will continue to do it. BZ
I have a buddy who joined this morning, and he's a hated jets fan. He told me I should check out mangina's presser so I did. First five minutes he speaks about the Dolphins.. mann, he sure looks young... and doofy. ohh, and y'all don't need to worry.. BZ and the others will be back, win lose or draw
Don't call it a comeback I been here for years Rockin my peers and puttin suckas in fear Makin the tears rain down like a MON-soon Listen to the bass go BOOM BZ
As I said on another thread, its amazing how much Pennington has improved after joining the Dolphins. When he was wearing the green he was a noodle arm, injury prone etc..etc. I hope the Jets regret ever letting Pennington go this Sunday, I think they will be facing a different Dolphins team than they have faced in a long, long time.
I listened to mangina's presser this am.. he was all about knowing we are different. Remember, none of this is new, or a surprise to mangini, he is quite familiar with our staff, and how they build.
CP still is noodle armed and potentially injury prone. But he also is incredibly smart and accurate and he very good at play action. He also shows great timing on his long passes. So hopefully behind a better OL and with a better running game, he'll stay healthy and the running game will allow him to get the ball deep.
Oh we know you will be bro.....you're one of the more S/M prone fans. It must be truly strange to be a die hard Jet fan married to a die hard Fin fan. I can relate to a degree, since my wife is a Colt fan. All the kids have been raised right, though - Fin fans!!
Hey! I was going to call him mangina but didn't know if it would be classified as an attempt to circumvent the profanity filter!
