The guy was beasting last year when he tore a muscle in his chest... ( Pec ) 5 and a half sacks in 9 games... Ogbah was raw in college with a world of talent... It looked like last year he finally was living up to his immense talent on the field with flat out production. I am really excited about What Ogbah can do for us.
I am really excited because as you said about Flores in another thread he has a way of getting the best out of guys.
My presumption is that he's betting on himself as well. The two year contract is so that he can show the world what he can do, and is motivated to put up really big numbers and earn himself a big deal in two years. He's in his prime, so we really should be getting the two best years of his career if he's healthy.
So far I like all of these signings...they're grabbing solid young players and not trying to get that "one guy" who can change the franchise. We need 30+ guys for that and they're being smart about it, in my opinion. So far I'm impressed.
Well we did kind of blow a huge chunk of change on a cornerback... But it is an important position and we had the money so I am good with that also.
