From PFT: In an unusual move for a drafted player, Dolphins rookie pass rusher Curtis Weaver has been placed on waivers. Weaver was injured in Saturday’s practice and waived/injured today. That means that any team can claim him on waivers, and if no team does he’ll go on the Dolphins’ injured reserve and collect his rookie salary of $610,000. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/08/24/dolphins-waive-injured-rookie-curtis-weaver/
Dude you cant paste full articles of other sites thats against the ethic and without quoting it remove it
You got any insight into the actual article and a promising rookie being cut? How about a spelling mistake?
He happens to be correct. And please post a link with the story. The way it looks now is the way it should look. But thank you for posting it
Just trying to make it easy to come to one place and get all the news. Missed the cite on this one. It happens sometimes. Easily could have pm’d me but in today’s day and age it’s all about confrontation. The rest of his insight into the actual content says it all. Cheers.
Actually what he did protects the site. It’s not about confrontation, he was giving you a heads up. As for weaver it’s unfortunate. The consensus was he was pretty boom or bust.
I don't get why he was forced to go to waivers before he could be on IR. That doesn't seem fair at all.
He wasn't actually forced to go on waivers before going on IR, that rule got changed in 2018 and it appears it was Chris Grier/the Dolphins who proposed it: They didn't want to keep him on the roster.
Just dont know whats preventing the dolphins from doing the same thing they did with delpit as they placed the safety on IR and picked up weaver
