Yeah so this is now 4 times Ross has failed to find the right HC and GM. I mean.. the REAL problem is Ross. 4 times is enough. Like what's the chance he's going to get it right this time??? Not sure this franchise will recover until we get a new owner.
Angrier needs to go but he’s not the scape goat he doesn’t coach or game plan where this team is not ready ever always come out flat and uninspired. Take a second and let this sink in we just lost to a team that hasn’t won in 21 Games with the lead going into the forth.
Flo needs to go but Grier is the worst GM I’ve seen. We’re a bad team and we don’t even own our 1st round draft pick. He’s literally turned 9 picks over 2 years in the first 2 rounds into 2-3 good players.
****. I am moving to Wyoming in a week anyway. No NFL team there. Maybe it's time to just give up watching football. I kept hoping the Fins would win another SB before I died, but it's just become painful watching this same old **** year after year. It's not fun anymore.
Grier should be the first to go. Flores isn't even on my radar until Grier is long gone along with anyone in the FO and scouting department that he hired or recommended or allowed to keep a job. He's a complete failure.
Sure, but until the bonehead who wasted away all the draft capital he built is long gone from this organization we're going nowhere. Doesn't matter who the coach is this roster isnt full of NFL talent with starting abilities. It's severely lacking in talent and that's on Chris Grier far before anyone else.
Agreed, I mean just the 2020 draft alone should be enough to fire him right away. Picking Tua over Herbert, then Jackson and Iggy in the first round. Aside from this there is an endless list of stupid decisions by Grier. I hope Ross sells the team as well. He has absolutely no clue who to hire. If he tries another rebuild he will probably hire the wrong people again.
Ross isn’t going to fire anyone till off-season IMHO but I’d suggest we do it Monday and begin the process now and trade everyone before the trading deadline is up and try to get some draft capital for the new coach and gm. also this team is his investment. He’s not going to sell the team unless he makes so much bank. So we will have to wait for that
I'm not sure about that. If the locker room has quit on the coach, Ross could be risking getting his hand-picked all-star QB (insert rolleyes emoji here) injured badly. I think Flores goes before the end of the season.
If they use Florez is a scapegoat and they keep Grier Then it doesn’t matter history will continue to repeat itself we need a brand new top to bottom scouting and GM
Don't get your hopes up. Ross is the guy who literally said "I'm going to own it until I die" when asked about rumors he was thinking of selling the team last year. We as fans need to brace for more of this nonsense LOLOL.
Our only hope is if enough fans stop buying tickets and merchandise to the point where he’s losing money. But maybe that’s not possible with TV money.
Dude! Off topic, but THAT is awesome! I'm trying to talk my wife in us relocating to Maine. AWAY from people. So far it's not working, but I am taking a trip there for my 40th birthday in November, so I'm holding out hope.
I just can't get behind Ross being the issue for two reasons: 1) He actually and obviously wants to win and puts significant resources into it (not to great effect, but they are there). 2) There just isn't anything we can do about it. You can talk about not buying stuff, but it won't work. Ross isn't going anywhere, which means we either roll with it or we can go root for another team (or just stop rooting for any teams). I think from an owner's perspective, you just keep pulling the trigger until you get a lucky coach/QB combo (and a GM that can put together an at least otherwise average team). Flores getting fired mid-season would be somewhat of a surprise barring a total collapse with losing the team. If they give up and fail to compete over multiple games, that's the sign of an in-season move. Otherwise, it's likely to be in the offseason barring a late run and Flores managing to convince Ross he can do better with a better GM.
Hope you're planning on northern Maine. Coastal Maine is being inundated by refugees from MA, CT and NY and the real estate prices are going through the stratosphere. (Of course, real estate prices are horrible everywhere. Thank God we had a house to sell.) But yeah, it's cool. I have always wanted to live out west and this is the first chance I've had. Kids are out of the house and I can work from home so I could live anywhere.
