Hello from the business center of the Hampton Inn in Glendale, Az. Well so far the turn out of Dolphin fans at the hotel is great. I am waiting for the slacker Kenny to show up. Very nice hotel. Two blocks from the stadium. Just thought I would check in! Go Dolphins!
I hope someone wears a Dolphins jersey with "BOLDIN" taped on the back... I'd love to see what Cardinal fans say about that..
brother you could of been here with me. I drove solo, and have two queen beds in my room. And yes I am happily married.
Will do brother. It will be late Monday or Tuesday morning. I will give you my snapshot. Brother Kenny, his wife, and I are sitting at the 50 yard line up high so I will have a great view.
Have a great time at the game John. Just be glad the Cardinals no longer play at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe. I used to live five blocks from there and you would bake in the 105 degree weather in September. I remember going to a Broncos-Cardinals game there in the early 90's, and about 3/4 of the stadium was wearing orange jerseys. The new stadium looks really nice, and they even can wheel in some real grass from the outside. Wish I could be there.
Woohooo.....I am so looking foward to watching My Fins live in a regular season game.....hope to meet as many of you as possible.
Well we went to the Fox Sports bar last night and watched USC kick butt. Went by the Dolphin player hotel. Came back to the hotel and had a cannonball contest in the pool until 11pm. I have not seen or heard from Brother Kenny yet this morning. Go Dolphins!
We all tried, but a force stronger than ours was at work here.....was great to see them live and in person.....but lots to be done out of our control.
I am home now. I was supposed to leave Glendale this morning. I left last night at 7:00pm and got home after 12:30 in the morning. I have tons of pics I will upload. I wanted to say thanks to Carol, and Brother Kenny for a great time. I also had the pleasure of meeting, and having a great time with DrDolphin, OrangeFinFan, bigdogshunt, Vegas phin, the El paso group, Gabe, Darian, Tammy, Henry, and Mike. I tried to remember first names but there was so many. It was a pleasure to meet you all, along with all the new Dolphin fans that I was lucky to meet. The tailgating friendship, and meeting members was awesome. I am sorry if you called and I couldn't here it over the band, and the laughter. The fans traveled very well. If you are ever in the area, I would recommend The Hampton Inn. It was very nice, and close to everything. The stadium was awesome, and very load. I found out from brother Kenny, that the grass field can roll out of the stadium, to which it has 170 motors to help do that. The cardinal fans that I ran into were all good. Some dad sent his 7 and 9 year daughter and son, and they yelled smack at us for 10 minutes. It was classic. The tailgating was one of the best that I have been to. A huge thanks to the El Paso Dolphin fans for letting us be part of the great tailgate! Inside for the game. We sat down in our seats, and next thing you know Daughtry played live with the assist of the Marines pushing the stage out in there dress blues. He played three songs. During half time we were treated to The Marine Corps Silent Drill Team. They were awesome. I have pics as well. As for the game, brother DJ asked for analysis. All I can tell you is I have never felt like I did at a live game before. I felt like I got this at the game. This was a very hard game to watch. I will get the pics up on here sometime today. Thanks, John
There stadium is very, very loud. The roof was closed, and it was about 74 degrees. First class set up!
Night life. In front of the Fox Sports Bar. Brother Kenny. Carol, Kenny, yours truly having fun, and drdolphin at Fox Sports Bar in Westgate.
The awesome El Paso Group. We enjoyed tailgating with them, and appreciate there wonderful hospitality. Brother Kenny, myself, and OrangeFinFan.
This fan was a Dolphin fan and a bengal fan. He was great. He rode this bike all around the Great lawn.
