I hadn't given it much thought, honestly. Perhaps we could reset divisions each season so that the there are three teams that made the playoffs in each one? And that the two finalists are in opposite divisions to balance it out?
I'm READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!! You ready? https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=you+ready+song
No doubt! Although, I'll be honest, this whole 3 weeks only of preseason has completely messed with my draft scheduling in other leagues lol.
I hate that I had to cheer that TD to Diggs just now. I feel so dirty. But I kinda like it. I'm so ashamed. Was really hoping for a 48-45 Rams win tonight. Cmon Cooper!
Week 1 in the books and some teams were really impressive, others (like mine) less so. Great week by team BFT who finally has Barkley healthy and his whole squad was ballin'. @TaylorGators team went nuts as well...Hopefully they got that out of their system and are prepared to lose this week haha.
That is why I stuck with my baby boy Saquon, nursed him back to health rejecting all who sought to prey on my struggles. We persevered #26 and together again shall prevail! Why Smith got a gooseegg IDK? That needs to not be a thing going forward for sure.
Good = I got 32.3 points from my #1 Rb and 25.7 from my TE. Bad = I got 1.8 points from my starting QB and 0 from one of my starting WRs today.
It was an odd week overall. Lots of fringe/random TDs. I only scored 88 pts lol. Hopefully that's not a trend!
Looks like I lost 2021 fantasy #1 pick Javonte Williams for the year, while fantasy #2 pick Kenneth Walker has barely played due to injuries, and my best player Calvin Ridley is suspended for the year. My team aint lookin too hot, yet again.
Since your top draft picks don't seem to like helping your team, I'll be happy to take your 2021 1st off your hands and flip it with mine to see if that helps you out
Nope. I'll keep banging my head into the wall forever, and eventually it'll pay off. Since I took over the team in 2017, I've drafted eight QBs. If I keep trying, eventually one will end up being an NFL starter!
I should've known better then to draft Javonte in my other leagues. I should just avoid your whole roster the way your luck goes lol.
I'm the Cleveland Browns of our league. Snuck into the playoffs as the 6 seed my first year and missed them ever since. And that was mostly due to Matt Ryan having the second best season of his career. I do feel confident that I have a lot of future potential. Just need some of it to hit.
Good thing that I only have 7! Now that Pickett has the starting job in Pittsburgh, I can let Trubisky go. Mariotta too probably. The issue is that our league is so deep that there are almost never RBs and WRs worth picking up in their place.
I literally had 1 QB for much of the past 2 yrs and just pick up a scrub for my bye week. Did everything in my power to get a late 2nd round pick for Josh Allen but couldn’t muster one up. That one hurts!
It happens. I had the same happen with Herbert when I was trying to acquire an extra 2nd. But it sucks royally. In your case it hurts less when you have mahomes. I have Mills/Fields/Mayfield.
I've found that guys are usually reluctant to part with proven qbs. A couple of years ago one of our owners had three good starters, and I tried to pry any of them away for a 2nd rounder with no luck.
Eh I'm OK playing mix and match with qbs but the scenarios me and Todd were talking about were situations during the draft where we wanted to acquire an extra pick to use on a qb, in his case Allen for me it was Herbert, and we were unable to do so and both have obviously become stars. He has mahomes though and it's Todd so it's just tough to feel bad for him lol
I've just been looking at the 2018 Rookie Draft selections. It was my first year in the League, and I had the 2nd overall pick. I chose: Derrius Guice Christian Kirk Jordan Wilkins but could have had: Nick Chubb Josh Allen Mark Andrews What is it they say about hindsight being a perfect science!
