Buffalo Bills. I hate to admit it, but I wish we were having the success the Bills are right now. They look amazing. I know its sac-religious to sit here and talk up the rival that i love to hate twice a year.... But man, give credit when credit is due. That team looks like a real contender. I am praying that next year, we will have something in common with the Bills. A young QB with some solid playmakers and a Special Teams that just blows minds. I can deal with this current team as long as i know good things will come like the Bills have done so far this year. I would love to see a Edwards/Henne rivalry for the next decade and get the Bills/Phins rivalary games back! Anyone else feel the jealousy? Or is it just me?
Fight the jeslousy. They look very good and good for them. They have shown what it takes to do things right for the past few years. It's gonna take 2, maybe 3 more years before the competition heats back up b/w Miami and the foes in Miami's divison. Until then, just riide it out because it could be worse. Cam Cameron could still be the HC setting us back longer.
Hahaha, OMG. Cam Cameron, now that would really be depressing. I guess my biggest complaint is I just sit and wait thinking these players will develop and get better, but it just hasnt happened. At least Langford and Merling are bright spots on a dim team. Thanks Bro!
I second this. For me there is no need to be jealous. Every time you have that feeling, just remember when they sucked bad. Every team has to go through a rebuilding phase to get better. Its the law of nature.
is this jauron's 3rd year? I guarantee there were fans clamoring for his head in his first year as well
could Henne vs. Edwards be Marino vs. Kelly all over again? we shall see, but I'm sure Dolphins and Bills fans everywhere are hoping so.
No it hasn't, yet. They haven't been to the playoffs since the days of Flutie Flakes. They've waited a long time. We will be where they are within two seasons.
Jags went 12-4 last year, and their team hardly changed. But, it's still too early in the season to decipher anything. 2-0 is a nice start, but it's only 1/8 of the regular season. Hopefully, they continue the winning this Sunday.
I'm not jealous, but I definitely respect what they've done. They've got a pretty solid nucleus up there and the pieces look to be coming together. It took them a few years to get where they are, overcome some missteps (coaching, personnel, etc.). The old cliche is true: if you don't get the right QB, it sets you back years. They got it wrong with Losman and it set them back. Now they appear to have gotten it right with Edwards, amongst other things, and the ship has been righted. Very similar circumstances here. We've gone thru coaches, had bad drafts, etc. and had to start over a few times. We've gotten it wrong at QB every year. Hopefully now we have/are finally bottoming out, drafting well, building up the lines and have the right QB on the roster (Henne).
THe worst part is that we weren't even trying to upgrade at QB for years. My God..... Does everyone realize that we didn't invest a high draft pick into a QB until 8 years after Marino retired are you kidding me?
4-11 The combined record of the Bills opponents so far. 6-5 The Combined record of the Phins opponents so far 7-7 The combined record of the Jets opponents so far 4-7 The combined record of the Pats opponents so far
That's the big one. Still nice to start the season undefeated for a while. Now we've got some of the creampuffs they've played coming up. Hopefully the Jets can build some more confidence heading into that game with the Bills. Who'd a thunk...a potential battle for first place in the east between the Jets and Bills around mid season?
Id like to see the Bills beat a real team once before I say they are playoff bound. Granted they beat JVille, but that team hasnt looked good this year eiter, and the other teams theyve played are all awful.
Giants 3-9 Tenn 3-12 Cleveland 8-3 Cincy 10-4 Oakland 9-3 It's a trend, the good teams are going to face teams with bad records in the beginning because most of their losses come directly as a result of losing to that team and vice versa. it's waaaaay too early to compare opponent's records, if the bills were 0-4 their opponents records would be 8-7. it'll even out in the end but there isn't enough of a sampling for this to work right now. if the jets were 4-0 their opponent's record against would be 5-9 and miami fans would be talking about them beating weak teams.
The Bills are the new team to beat in the AFC East, no question, and they've earned it. The Jets look good too, I'm so glad Brett Favre still sucks, throwing for six td's in a game. What a washup That guy is still a Human God throwing a pigskin as far as I'm concerned. Regardless of what the Cardinals did, he made it happen and he's the greatest thing to happen to New York since Joe Namath, at least that's what his records say.
i´m still not sold on the bills, yes they are 4-0 but except for that jacksonville game, they had to sneak by against the raiders and rams and beat a injury plagued seattle team
We'll see how they do against Arizona, doing without Boldin should give them an advantage, although I'm sure the Cardinals will be playing all out after losing the last two weeks.
Lol they got crushed, that was terrible. Will be interesting to see how they do in divisional play. They played some of the worst teams in the NFL to start and the won, now the competition is gonna stiffen a bit, lets see how they do. The Phins are surging, the Pats rebounded, the Jets will come off a bye after an offensive explosion while the Bills get demolished. Sooo jealous of them right now
