Haven’t seen any numbers on this deal, but I’m assuming he’s making significantly less than Wilson, which (if they can move him) would save some $.

We actually could use a bigger, taller WR who can be a good “go up and get it” type to compliment the smaller speedsters we have. It would also greatly help Tua to have both types.

All we’re gonna need is berrios and Ez, I’m confident they will be the 3a 3b

I would have ‘chosen’ to bring back Jarvis Landry.
We have a lot of small, twitchy, fast receivers. We need a gritty, tough, blocking type to replace Sherfield. Anderson is far from that.

I understand Anderson basically called us up and fell into our laps for cheap. But doesn’t really fit any type of need.

no interest in Landry. maybe if it was years ago. plus, he's a poor fit in this offense.

I disagree. He's a good fit for any roster because he gets open and runs hard. I haven't seen him play in a few seasons so I'm assuming that he's the same guy...I could be mistaken. But what made Landry special was heart, he played with so much heart on every down he was on the field.

If you haven't seen him play in a few seasons, then why would you assume he's the same guy? How many highlights have you seen from Landry in the last few years? there's been almost none. Yes, the guy played with fierce heart, but that's a young man's game, not an aging vet.

I honestly don't see us moving up more than a couple of spots. We're not desperate for any position that'll make it worth heavy future compensation to move up 20 spots or more. Very few players are going to be available next week that will be unseating a starter, so don't waste a pick unless the deal is well worth it. I think Grier & Co. are seeing Tindall and Ezukanma as part of this rookie class, so outside of OL depth, we're almost as deep as we are talented in most areas.

as long as it isn't another reach like A Jackson or L Eichenberg. As much as we need a RT, I'd rather not trade up for one because I don't trust Grier to pick right one. Now, if a great prospect at DT fell, I'd be all over that.

Interesting, Grier has not shown the ability find the types of players

He’s been terrible at acquiring running backs the past four seasons, Jordan Howard chase edmunds, kallen ballage, matt breida, Malcom brown, deandre Washington, Gerri’s Doaks, Phillip Lindsay, and the others he’s brought here has been dismal, like he’s bad at it.

Terrible at finding tight ends, Gesicki and Long were terrible picks, cethan carter, Adam shaheen, clover Walford, and the others were terrible too.

Right tackle I don’t even need to get into

I was assuming...which I probably shouldn't do. Maybe he has fallen way off. I still can't imagine him being a bad choice for a WR4 type of role though.

As much as i like Landry he seemed to be a me first guy, not sure he would fit with this team.

In this offense, I think he would be aa bad choice for 4th, 5th or even 6th WR. BUt, I could be wrong. Just think he's ineffectual at this point in his career.

It makes me wonder whether Grier actually watches film or prioritizes it enough. I watched Jackson get manhandled by Iowa’s Epenesa in the Holiday Bowl and was quite certain Jackson shouldn’t be a first round pick. Late 2nd/3rd seemed more appropriate.

Outside of Tua’s heath issues, putting together a respectable OL has been the biggest issue with this team. Relying on Armstead who misses about 30% of the games in a season, isn’t a great answer but I guess better than 100% Austin Jackson/Eichenberg at LT.

we blame Grier, and rightfully so, on inability to draft Olinemen, but some of this has to be on scouting dept and coaching staff. Have to hope at least the latter can help Grier improve

He is a physical possession receiver.
    Great blocker
I wouldn’t expect him to make the highlight reels or have chunk gainers. Hill, Waddle and Berrios can do that.

When Miami is bad, a lot of those 64k in attendance are fans of the visiting team. Granted, Miami is one of the best NFL cities to travel to in the winter, but there have been numerous times where the numbers of visiting fans were pretty embarrassing.

I think he is fully capable of catching the ball down the seam for chunk gainers.
