I'm curious how the drafted players at home somehow magically get their teams caps when the are called.
There was one guy who was on the phone with the team that drafted him, and his buddy couldn’t find the correct hat in the pile in front of him. They were goofing on the friend on GMF the next day.
I guess so; I know the guys they invite to the green room get fitted and then they bring every team’s hat for each one of them. For the guys waiting at home, maybe they mail out hats to the top 100 prospects?
I imagine the NFL does. I mean there are cameras all throughout these people's houses. Do you think they couldn't also fit a box full of caps? Also, most of the time the player already did the excitement thing with his family before filming. They have them reenact the reaction for television. That is why Waddle's was so funny when he was drafted because he forgot to celebrate with his family and just went out there.
That makes sense. And if it's the NFL there filming player reactions, then they probably have hats of 32 teams and take 31 of them back with them. But since the cost of making hats is maybe $2-3, it wouldn't be that big of a deal to send it to the top 300 players. Heck, they probably spend more on an awards dinner at the HOF.
