I realize that it's just one game, but Ronnie has once again given us a glimpse of the All Pro talent that he possesses, running, catching, and throwing like a champ. Here's to seeing Ronnie finally overcome the injury bug and carrying this franchise back into relevancy. God knows he has the ability to do so (if he can just stay on the field).
Couldnt have said it better myself. Hopefully after this week, people are finally going to start realizing the potential this guy has. Im really hoping that the new strength and conditioning program around here is going to help keep him healthy for a full season. I still think both injuries he's suffered were freak incidents, and im hoping he'll be fine the rest of this season. Id really love to be able to watch highlights like todays for the rest of the season!
That's funny that you say that. I use the same analogy in my column that will get published in the morning. That's really the only NFL back capable of doing what Brown did today.
i think anyone who really watched him play knew he had the potential. he did it tons of times last year.
I have never had any doubts about Ronnie.I liked him in college and I have liked him as a Dolphin even though some of our coaches have not appreciated him as much and under-utilized him too. In the end the cream comes to the top and today he has proven again that he is a top 5 RB. Only injuries have prevented him from being recognized as an elite RB.
I'm 100% positive that if Ronnie were to stay healthy, he would be ranked as one of the best running backs ever.
Actually Cam worked Ronnie hard last year and was the first guy to push him. He also taught Ronnie how to be a quality NFL running back.
Aqua, I'm praying this regime is here a lot longer than Ronnie Brown is.. Actually I'd like Sparano and Ireland run this team for at least a decade.. I'll take Parcells for a few more years until he decides to take on his next project.. Of course after he "retires" from here
Most of us knew that already Anyone else loved the fact that instead of just walking in for the TD on his second one, he went right after Hobbs (I think it was) looking to crush him down? That was awesome!
I think he was referring to the fact that at the end of camp neither regime saw RB as the clearly better running back. Cam in particular took a couple of games to figure it out. That's where RB was shorted. Sparano at least had the injury excuse.
Ronnie fans knew that .He threw for a two pointer in 2006 Actually Saban used him several times as a thrower
Dont mean to break up the conversation but i just realised that ronnie will be 28 next year.....he must of been 24 as a senior, that sucks
It's only one play, and only one TD....but THAT is the kind of play that changes a team's psyche. THAT is the kind of play that will make his teammates look around the room during film study and say "damn, now that's a baller". THAT is the kind of play that will be burned into the memories of teammates, forever altering whether or not they manage to dig deep, fight hard and flat out kick some arse when they have a choice of taking what's easy and taking what's theirs to take.
haha me to..hobbs didnt want any and ronnie didn't go all out because he was already in the endzone. ward was at the goal line trying to stop him. i need to see that again, .gif anyone?
He's a young 27. That earlier post is talking about how old he'll be next year (which makes no sense to me...enjoy the here and now)
No doubt, this is what we all thought Ronnie could do. I just don't know what took Sparano so long to figure it out...
