▪ Tyreek Hill dropped several punts, but the Dolphins are unlikely to use him in that role. Jaylen Waddle, Malik Washington and rookies Theo Wease Jr. and AJ Henning also were involved in returns. ▪ Channing Tindall had a second good play in three days, stopping Mattison at the line of scrimmage on a rushing attempt. ▪ Rookie safety John Saunders Jr. broke up a pass to tight end Tanner Conner. ▪ Mohama Kamara stopped Achane in the backfield. The second-year edge player is trying to make a move.
David Furones @DavidFurones_ · 1h Dolphins rookie QB Quinn Ewers had a strong third practice of training camp. Made several impressive, big-time throws.
This fired me up. Really hoping for him to come back strong after watching it. Also was inspired by seeing Ingold's love for him in his presser. And I'd say that if he played for anyone else. Always want to see people get off the mat to achieve something big.
Lots of experience. Had some good years in New England, before he became a problem and was released for disciplinary reasons. Rough season last year in Las Vegas though. Experienced, has shown he can perform and is still only 27. Considering how desperate we are at CB and what is left… this is worth a shot.
Willie Gay by all accounts has been excellent t in camp, Jordy brooks has taken another step from all accounts, phenomenal condition he is in Tua has been wicked sharp and look to be pretty lean Achane and waddle ballin Kyle Crabbs reports that he’s not seen a line with this much push in his 6 years watching camp
Kader seen walking around the field after practice BJ Adams with looks to be a concussion Kyle crabbs standouts after four practices waddle, Hill, Minkah “ Willie Gay big time stand out” “Zach Wilson throw the skin off the ball today he had a great day”
I do think the national media is sleeping bad on this team. I’m seeing positive trends from McDaniel and some changes and the right leaders are in place we have the talent to win a playoff game
I was impressed with Tua’s interview today about reek on national tv He’s now the unquestioned leader of this team and he made it known that he’s the one to make everyone accountable that was cool
Inside the Micah deal: The headlines say one thing. The details paint a different picture. Yes, Dolphins safety Minkah Fitzpatrick received a $16.245 million signing bonus as part of his reworked deal. The truth is that the Dolphins had the ability to convert $14.245 million of his $15.5 million salary into a signing bonus, for cap purposes. That’s what they did. Even if they hadn’t, the full amount of his 2025 compensation would have become guaranteed as of Week 1, thanks to the termination pay provision under the Collective Bargaining Agreement. They also moved, we’re told, $2 million from 2026 to 2025 and added it to the signing bonus. His salary for 2026 reduces to $15.6 million from $17.6 million. Of course, moving $2 million doesn’t sound nearly as good as a $16.245 million signing bonus! Fitzpatrick has no guarantees for 2026. The new deal also contains no trigger to force an early decision, like a guarantee conversion or a roster bonus due in March.
Tua has yet to throw an int Ewers is smoking right now Wilson as well Willie Gay and Brooks are the stars on the defensive side Minkah is leading his group big time Sieler about to get paid
The Dolphins have another injury concern in their secondary. Via multiple reporters on the scene, safety Ashtyn Davis suffered an apparent lower-leg injury during team drills in Tuesday’s practice. Davis was able to limp inside the team facility for further examination. He then came back out on crutches and sporting a boot on his left foot. Davis, 28, joined the Dolphins in March on a one-year deal worth $3 million. Miami has experienced multiple injuries in its secondary during training camp, with Artie Burns going down for the season with a torn ACL and Kader Kohou also suffering an apparent leg injury over the weekend.
Tuesday pad practice Summary Ife will be back for joint practice against bears next week imo Willie Gay again the star of the day, that dude is ballin. Orange jersey tommorow. Patrick Paul was excellent today waddle is having an sxcellent camp pharoah brown with a few intermediate catches which I thought was interesting I would go after Justin Simmons this Alexander Mattison side is having a good camp
Patrick Paul is probably my the most important happening so far in camp it’s also nice that Jonah has looked the part in the starting lineup and James Daniels is starting and playing well
Our qb room has never been stronger in the Tua era. i hope we keep all 3 though theyll be tempted to trade Zach even by midseason.
I like hearing the positivity out of our key players. This heat is no joke and these guys are out there ballin away. I appreciate that. If we can get through preseason without injuries, I'll feel pretty good about where we are at. As of right now, the only concerning injuries are to Davis and Kader. Hopefully they're ready to rock for the start of the season.
Would love for him to go off this year and then we can trade him for a nice pick. The range of outcomes for this team is impressive. Playoff win to maybe a 4-6 win team just above the true bad teams like New Orleans. Personally see us as being probably middling in the 9-8 range give or take 1-2 games either side. Playoffs ... would be nice but I don't see us beating Buffalo for the division or winning a wild card road game. Would be happy to be wrong. All starts with the OL, Tua's health and whether McDaniel can keep this team on track and focused. Oh, and eventually we need positive injury regression, right?
I’ve been an angry fan for a year but I see real improvement across the board this year I think we shut everyone the **** up
This one hurts badly. Major injury at the weakest position. Ashtyn Davis is on crutches and a walking boot too. Storm Duck still out. But that is hopefully more minor… Even from the most rose coloured glasses outlook…. The Defensive backfield is just plain bad at this point…
Tough break about Kohou. There are still veteran cornerbacks available out there. Stephon Gilmore Rasul Douglas Asante Samuel Jr.
Give me Gilmore… his experience and leadership will do a lot for us… Asante Samuel Jr i would have liked before his father started talking ****.. we dont need that kind of distraction.. even though i honestly cant disagree with what he had to say
Some good news Dolphins offensive lineman Bayron Matos has been released from the hospital. Matos was helicoptered to the hospital after suffering an injury during the first practice of training camp and a team official confirmed to the Miami Herald that Matos is out after a multiple-day stay. There’s no further update on Matos’s condition or if he’ll be back with the team at training camp. His agent said that Matos suffered an above the shoulder injury and Matos had movement in all his extremities a day after the injury occurred. Matos spent last season on the Dolphins’ practice squad. He has not appeared in any regular season games.
Willie Gay has another great practice from all accounts No injuries today team did up and downs after practice Tua no ints for 7th strait practice Patrick Paul playing like a grown man says Omar. Westbrook starting to make some plays
Man that sucks equally bad for Kader and the team. We really needed him to step up and show out, and I think he was ready. First time in his career he was going to have the same DC in 2 consecutive years. Contract upcoming. Veterans ahead of him departing. That's a big blow. Pretty much have to grab someone else now, though I don't really have high hopes for anyone still out there. Maybe swing a trade or see what happens with camp cuts.
