Trade completed for a third round pick

1 down of the four on my list to trade

Next 3 on the trade block.. see what is being offered.. doubt we get rid of all four but we have to dangle them.. time to blow this up

    Chubb, Minkah, Waddle..

Jaelan has been one of those players i just never liked on the field.. flashes every other 3-4 games, never available, always injured, fragile.. was injured in college as well.

another great Grier first round pick.. glad we are moving on from him and we are lucky to get a third

Congratulations to Jaelan Phillips, from dumpster fire to Superbowl contender.

Good. He's been lame this year. He's always injured. The D has sucked this year. Another ca ca Grier pick.

Phillips has been good. I believe he's been misued this season but I would have kept "Thor" VanGinkle over Phillips.

I wish him well, and a late third is good trade value given his injury history. As a depth player for the Eagles, I think he'll shine. I would have needed a 'prove it' year to sign Phillips long-term and still been hesitant to do it.

Now move Chubb and Minkah; but Waddle would require a first rounder and change.

Chubb i have some doubts we move because of the cap penalties and we save a lot more by cutting him on june 1st.. but… if the offer is good.. then do it.. theyll work out the finances with the other team

Minkah gotta go. He is a fine player but he serves no purpose for us long term.. im sure some playoff team needing a veteran presence there will call

I kind of feel the same, it just always seemed like we were waiting for him to take the leap from good to elite player and realize his physical potential, but he would either get hurt or just have a few games where he disappeared. I am sad that he didn't work out because the talent is definitely there, and he seemed like a really good locker room guy and leader, but I think this move is best for both sides. Gives him a chance to shine on a national stage prior to a new contract, gives us some capitol and the opportunity to move on from a player with injury concerns.

Also should open more reps for Chop. No reason he shouldn't be playing the vast majority of downs.

Jaelan has a high ceiling, just had injury issues. Hope the change of scenery, getting older and growing into some now-veteran wisdom (not sure of his habits, but sometimes a vet learns to rest more and party less, esp when the rookie / young buck is in Miami), and new strength/conitiong and training staffs all combine to give him a stellar career.

A third rounder is great value for him. I feel like we already got the best Phillips was going to offer, and that was before the achilles injury. Had it not been for the achilles, he might have been an all pro pass rusher. In my opinion, we fleeced Philly with this deal. That being said, I hope he makes a Super Bowl winning sack for them on the biggest stage. When I'm not a Dolphins fan, I am an Eagles fan being that's where I'm originally from. Yeah...Fight me...I like the Eagles. Like I said though, great value for us. Hopefully we turn that third round pick into a star player, and hopefully Phillips does amazing things for the Eagles. Wins all around.

Trade as many players on this defense as you can.

He was super happy in his first interview in Philly. He said that's the only place he ever wanted to play.

1st chance to even check in here on my S. America trip. Sorry to see him go. I think he’s going to be a monster next year and it will be a huge mistake for a late late 3rd. But we would have had to pay him.

Met him at a charitable event and he was the nicest guy. Good luck to him.
