Put Tua's *** on the bench and let Ewers play out the season. Let's see what he's got.

I won't root against just hoping they don't win.

We better make the switch and start playing traditional schemes. Let's see what our backups can do. If Ewers isn't ready, don't play him. But given that Brady Cook played okay with the Jets, I can't see why he wouldn't be.

I agree, I can hand off to Achane just as well as Tua or Ewers. Let the rookie get some reps and we'll see what happens. I will be rooting for Miami to win regardless though...especially against NE.

After looking at the top 10 its looking like we can't really drop down much farther.Rams are at 10 with Falcons pick at 5-9 and and 3 teams with 4 wins

We should have done this as soon as Grier was fired. Going on that win streak was absolutely pointless and only hurt our draft position.

They aren't likely to move up or down much either way, win or lose the rest of the way. So its more fun to root for them to play well.

For those who are wanting the higher draft pick to draft a quarterback, this is a very VERY thin draft for quarterback. The only quarterback that would be worth going for is Mendoza and he's most likely going to the Raiders. There's no way we were going to lose THAT many games to be in that top 3 draft position.

The 2027 draft is where the next pot of gold quarterbacks are going to be so for the 2026 draft this is what needs to happen...whether McDaniel returns or not:
    -Continue to bolster the trenches
-Get a big WR and or TE
    -Address defensive secondary
-Bench Tua and bring in a journeyman quarterback to bridge 2026 to 2027

I would even go so far as the trade Tua...period. I believed in Tua, I was a vocal supporter of his, I will still say he played at ELITE levels in 2023 but THIS Tua is a shell of his former self. Unless by some MIRACLE, 2023 Salty Tua returns and plays like he did, keeping him on the team is going to be a distraction.

2026 needs to be all about my philosophy..."build the race car then get the driver". Set up our 2027 rookie quarterback for success like Marino was set up for success in 1983.

Depending on how this week's games work out, we could even basically be locked into between the 10th and 13th pick as soon as next Monday. Because of our weak opponent win percentage, we could even win out and still draft 11th.

To complicate matters even more, none of the top 3 quarterbacks have pledged to the draft yet. All of a sudden, it's not a given that they'll drop out of school and turn pro. There's actual options now with NIL money.

Could they make more in the NFL? Sure. But for the first time, they can choose to take less money and be loyal to their current college program and teammates. Or they can stay to chase the national championship. None of them "need the money" anymore; they're already doing quite well through sponsorship and making a lot more than you or I.

I wouldn't be shocked if Mendoza stays in college, to be honest. It's just not a guarantee anymore and I think that's a good thing.

I'm at the point where I don't care if they win or not.I can only hope for a different result next year,That makes me insane I suppose.
