One bright spot on the Dolphins dismal season is De’Von Achane being selected to the 2025 Pro Bowl.

Achane has had 1726 total scrimmage yards, 5th in the league including 1267 yards rushing, averaging an impressive 5.8 yards per rush and 8 touchdowns.

    Congratulations De’Von!!!!

I'd love to get his jersey, but every jersey I get, the guy gets injured or traded. Or both.

Should be in the MVP race if this team were winning. Achane is rock solid and is hands down my all-time favorite running back in Miami. Yes...He's passed Ricky. Literally the only reason I kept up with the team this year. I remember watching Marshall Faulk and Barry Sanders ball out in the 90s and remember dreaming about having a back as electric as they were. 30+ years later and here he is. Keep him healthy, and he'll be legendary for us for the next five years.

For me, my favorite all time running back for the Dolphins has always been Csonka. I mean, he’s the ONLY back in NFL history penalized for unnecessary roughness while running THROUGH a player.

Then it’s a tie between Achane and Williams.

Didn’t get to see Csonka sadly! So my number one is Ricky although I was furious when he quit, nowadays I‘m just mad at Pornstache for running him into the ground.

You missed a treat. Csonka didn’t avoid contact, he LOOKED for it!

Yeah, Ricky is pretty high on my list too. Achane is still young so it's hard to say if he'll be truly special or just a really good RB. Part of that is avoiding injury and just staying healthy. He really reminds me of a Bp Jackson though with one-cut TD potential on every single play. I love watching him run!

If you're the GM do you try to extend Achane or trade him? He'll be 25 so the argument could be made for a 4 year deal. But is there cap space? What would a pro bowl back just starting his prime command in trade?
Comps to McCaffrey trade come to mind.

Pay him…… he is our most valuable asset, he is in that category with Jonathan Taylor, c-mac, henry..

even if at some point we have to let him go because some team offered a draft pick selection we cant refuse.. it is important to keep him for that reason alone..

the colts just traded two firsts for sauce gardener and he played a handful of games for them till he got injured..

you have to keep devon on the roster.. just too valuable long term and short term

Dolphins may finish last with him in 2026 so I'd be more likely to trade. A team that is close to a SB run could offer a nice package. Broncos. Chargers. Bears. Packers and perhaps a couple of other teams may be interested.

Keep in mind nobody did that at the deadline despite the fact that they absolutely should have.

I am fine with trading him for the right price but teams still aren't valuing RBs like they should and in particular aren't valuing Achane like they should.

Trading Achane away would be one of the DUMBEST moves the team could ever do, especially if the Dolphins are moving away from Tua and to a new quarterback, especially if it’s a rookie.

A strong running game is always a quarterback’s best friend and if we get rid of that, our offense is going to be putrid.

Besides, I hate that we have GOOD players, trade them away and they end up having stellar careers elsewhere.

Everybody should always be "for sale". I was all for trading Xavien Howard after his one monster year. I thought that was a no brainer but, the genius in the front office thought it made more sense to throw money at him. By comparison, Achane is the kind of player you want to keep but, if somebody offered a 1st, it would be foolish not to, especially for a team that needs so much. You're not building an offense around Achane, he's part of an offense. You can't lean too heavily on him, he'll get hurt.
