yeah im still unsure, i have a feeling this will be the week Ben wakes up and puts up some points... especially that they'll be down to their 3rd string RB, it means he'll prob be under more pressure and may make more mistakes, but at least get some TDs and yardage... im still on the fence, i play my gut A LOT in fantasy, and my gut is telling me to stick with Roethlisberger... but then again my gut has been YELLING at me to take chambers out of my lineup and put in Ginn... just got that feeling this will be the week he gets very involved after the bye and surprises... but that could also be my bias talking...
who should I start at WR? E Royal vs TB, D Jackson vs WAS & L Moore vs Min M Harrison @Hou ,P Crayton vs Cin & Welker @SF
id take Eddie Royal here... NO showed you can pass on Tampa... and id take Crayton vs Cincy... especially at home for the Cowboys the running backs is tough... you know Perry is getting most of the carries in Cincy, but you figure they'll be down a lot and he wont be very effective, but you KNOW he'll get double digit carries and could have some success... i think hes the "safer" choice maybe... but Dunn is getting a lot of touches in tampa, though less than Graham, but im sure Tampa will try to win the TOP battle to keep Denver's offense off the field, which means lots of running... and Denver got gashed last week by LJ... id play Dunn
haha i thought it was 2 different teams, and you needed to pick 1 from each group... id probably take Crayton over Moore... but they are probably a pretty even play... keep Royal and DJack
QB Peyton Manning WR Eddie Royal WR DeSean Jackson WR Patrick Crayton RB Le'Ron McClain RB Steve Slaton TE Tony Scheffler W/R Ricky Williams I also have Harrison,Moore,Welker & Ginn that can play this week due to byes this is my line-up
My other team: T. Edwards L. Johnson J. Jones W. Dunn S. Smith L. Moore A. Fasano I also Have C Perry that can play this week I also have Burress suspension ,Cotchery bye week, B Edwards bye week & L Coles bye week
yikes. This is the same thing as last week. Now his owners get to play the guessing game again. Even more fun for me since I have Griese in a good on paper match up against Den. Too bad that game starts 10 mins after.
Speaking of Griese and TB, would you guys start A.Bryant vs. Broncs over Roy Williams vs. da Bears this week...Roy has been killing me thus far.
The real ***** of it is that I have a deal in place of Bowe for Rivers, but it rides on how well Palmer can come back. I'm kind of considering doing it anyways.
Denver's got a horrendous pass defense that yields a lot of touches to TE's, which are Griese's favorite. And Griese returns to face the team where he got a Pro Bowl nod.
I currently have Pennington starting (QB2) alongside Ben R. I'm wondering if I should start Jason Campbell (who plays Eagles, who is my starting DEF), or J.T. O'Sullivan (plays NE). I'm definitely going to start Roethlisberger, I'm just wondering who to start next to him in that group. Like I mentioned, I currently have Pennington, but I'm leaning towards Campbell.
Eagles have fielded a pretty tough passing D after re-tinkering over the Dallas loss. 13 sacks in 2 games. Campbell's been on a hot streak but the Eagles have had the Skins number in recent years. At worst, if you start him, either your defense is going to stink or your QB will stink and pretty much a wash there. Still better than O'Sullivan for now. I would still consider Pennington since the Chargers have been poor in defending against TE's, which Pennington is targeting often, and without Merriman, it's like their D lost their spine.
I need some advice on my RB situation... 1. Lynch vs. Arizona 2. Addai vs. Houston 3. Stewart vs. KC I know KC played well against denver. But on the road, I think KC is going to get thrashed all day and Stewart has been hot.
Personally I'd go with Stewart or Lynch, lean towards Lynch only because he's the feature back and gets rec. yards as well. But I think Stewart will find the endzone.
Ya, Regan it's tough because Campbell has very good numbers against the Eagles (from last year), but the Chargers have given up a lot of fantasy stats to QBs. I just made a deal for Campbell, so I feel inclined to use him but at the same time hate having players of my favorite team on my fantasy team because I feel inclined to use them and don't want it to cloud my fantasy judgement. As of now, Pennington is still in the starting lineup.
so my team sucks to begin with because i wasn't there to pick it....my league manager was an ***, i wont say any names *enforcercoughcough* and set the draft whilest i was at a dolphins game. i ended up with aaron rodgers, matt ryan, and vince young......my question is should i drop vince young and try to pick up another rb......nearly half my team is injured and i dont think young is going to do much the rest of the season.....im just trying to salvage whats left.
I think you might need a QB while you're at it. Rodgers is game-time as of now, Ryan's on and off, and Young's just plain off. Who do you have at RB?
What kind of QBs/RBs are on the waiver wire? Hell, at this point look at anyone in the WW/FA pools to see if anyone gets hot, and try and trade em off.
lol you sound only partially responsible. Anyone who has Matt Ryan, or even worse Vince Young on their roster still, has to be in serious trouble.
ya, unfortunately this is a 2 qb league...i have to keep at least 2....and there really is no one better still available. and he's about 98.7 % responsible. i've already made 17 freakin roster moves to try and doctor my situation.
Let me know what you all think of this lineup and if there should be changes. QB: C.Pennington QB: J.Campbell RB: L.Johnson RB: S.Slaton WR: I.Bruce WR: W.Welker WR: H.Ward TE: C.Cooley RB/WR: E.James K: R.Lindell DEF: Buffalo Bench: B.Roethlisberger Bench: J.O'Sullivan Bench: B.Berrian Bench: J.Jones Bench: Philadelphia
Really? The Carolina O is performing well and MM has had a bit of a resurgence since he came back from Chicago. Then again I havent seen what Bryant has been up to.
Larry Johnson ... Should have traded him after last week. He will draw you in with the occasional monster against a bad D, then suck it up for a few weeks. 2 yards this week? Sadly, if you try and trade him now he wont have much value. Edge is a risky player as well with Hightower taking so many goal line touches, though he did score this week. Thats general advice though, you may have been asking for specific gameday advice in which this is a bit late
i should have stuck with my Gut... if i would have started Big Ben i would have won this week, instead Griese goes down after doing nothing the first half anyway and i lose... dammit all to hell!
I love the Chris Cooley guessing game. You start him and he puts up 2-3 points so you bench him the next week. Then he shows up with 17-24 points and you start him, only to see another 2 pointer. Love this cycle.
you know what else.....i hate chad johnson. seriously. him and his ocho cinco can go jump off a cliff.
