I hate hearing about anybody getting hurt, and Romo is a pretty good dude, but me thinks this is Karma just reaching out and taking a HUGE bite out of Jerra Jones.

TOo bad so sad Crackwagon. Shouldnt be loading up on convicts and fellons. Under-achieveing convicts and fellons.

And I wanna know. Does TO wear a purse when he has Grand'mas earings in? Did anybody else see this? He wears earings EXACTLY like my Grandmother used to wear...

They have a good backup don't they (I think it's Brad Johnson), plus they can rely on Barber and Jones. Also, they won't have to worry about Romo's constant fumbles. They'll be fine.

Yeah Brad Johnson is a HUGE step down from Tony Romo.

Also, even with Romo the pokes already have 2 losses and probably shouldve been 3, in what is the best conference in football.

Of course the Redskins laying an egg against the Rams helps them out.

They could go 2-1 with Brad Johnson starting. Romo's out 4 weeks as mentioned and their opponents are St. Louis, Tampa Bay and New York Giants. After that, they have a bye week and Romo would be just back in time for the divisional game against Washington which I could see them losing. It wouldn't surprise me to see them be better on offense with Johnson than Romo but that is only if they can keep Johnson standing and not on his behind, which leads me to my next point.

They have some problems on that team and one of them is that they struggle along the offensive line, specifically against quicker pass rushers and Defensive Tackles. They had a big problem trying to contain Darnell Dockett yesterday and he ate them up. Flozell Adams had trouble against Antonio Smith of the Cardinals. Flozell will face Gaines Adams of Tampa and then a tweener in Kiwanuka who has some speed of the edge.

Furthermore, the Cowboys struggle when they have to play defense laterally. If teams want to run the ball on them, they should constantly run stretches and/or toss plays. This is what Washington did to them with Clinton Portis in their earlier matchup. They also have a weak secondary and it doesn't help that Adam Jones is a liability and Terrence Newman is injured.

Moreover, Romo struggles on the field and I thought Ron Jaworski made a great point the other day. He said that Romo plays "when he wants to." I have to agree with Jaworski. Romo struggles with fumbles as well as red zone turnovers. He forces too many throws and takes too many chances.

Also, I'm not sure if they know what they want to do on offense. The use of Marion Barber can be described as 'inconsistent'. One week, he gets eight carries then the next he gets 28. One guy that the Cowboys have to use more but they don't for some reason is Felix Jones. Jones is a complete back that is a homerun threat every time he touches the ball. I think coming into this week, he was putting up 9.5 yards per carry or per touch.

Everybody says that this team is the most talented in the league and they may very well be but they are doing a poor job on Sundays despite all that talent.
