should be fun watchin him and ray ray go toe to toe, hes the only one that can hang in the leadership dept. that lewis has. I hope he stays healthy for two more years. Just heard that roth is gonna become the majority owner of the team
I'm personally OVER this "Ray Lewis" infatuation (I don't mean here on this Board, but in the media). Am I alone in thinking he's a bit overrated? I agree he's good, but didn't Zach Thomas -- drafted the same year -- have better overall stats than Ray (other than a Super Bowl)??? Zach has only one less Pro Bowl than Lewis. While I know Zach's not having the best year in Dallas (can you tell I miss him?), I bring this up solely as an example and a point of conversation. I just think the media's "Ray Lewis Love-Fest" is a bit much... GO JOEY!
Sue to Ray's defense, he pumps up that defense. If Ray stays pumped up, and is playing out of his mind, that will spread through out that team, to which could leave a mark on us.
Agree. Ray has that attitude that makes the team around him better. Zach, IMO, was the better LB, but Ray is the better leader overall.
I agree with both of you that his leadership is tremendous -- I do admire how motivated he gets his teammates.
We need to keep Ray out of this game, well at least not a factor so the motivation isn't just flowing on the defensive side of the ball. We need to get to Flaco, and limit there running game as well. I hope Joey has a great day today.
