I am really looking forward to watching this game tonight. A very good, yet struggling Colts team against one of the best defenses and upcoming overall team in the league. Colts are in a borderline must-win situation...and I think they come through for the win.
I'm really pulling for a Tennessee victory because I want the Patriots to see an angry and desperate Indy team next week.
I hope the colts win so the titans are a defeated team and then go up against NE fired up and ready to keep rolling and steamroll them. That way I can have my cake and eat it, too.
I want the titans to win because the colts are closer record wise to Miami and it isn't like the Titans would go undefeated anyway. As much as I do not think Miami has a huge playoff shot (let's be real kids they have a lot of growing to do) I still want them to show growth in the standings.
A must win for Indianapolis. They lose this and they can basically kiss their division title hopes good bye.
I'm looking forward to this game. I think this will one of the most telling games of the season for both teams. If the Colts struggle and lose big, they are likely off of super bowl contenders list. If Tennessee struggles to stop Manning, then their season is only getting started. This could be the week that teams get tape on how to beat the Titans. But I'm predicting Titans by 11.
Um. Yo patsfangish. I understand the cat running behind the horseshoe but what's up with the pumpkin?
its halloween season bro. i guess the pumpkins represents the titans scary defense, and the black cat represents the kind of luck the colts have had this season.
i would have a hard time getting over that one two. i will also be cheering for the colts tonight, however i think they will lose.
That play was awesome, I remember seeing it happen and cheering because the Jillies were gonna lose. I can understand why anyone from Buffalo cringes at the mere mention of it though
I'm watching. Its incredible how small the Colts defense is. Not just the defensive line but the DB's.
And really can we stop talking about Sanders? Yeah, hes a good player. Who plays about half the season. If your lucky.
Defense has always been small but I think this may be the smallest they have ever been since Dungy has been there. Looks like the Colts have come out and made stopping the run their number one priority.
I concur. Bullet fills in nice for him as Jaworski mentioned. I can't get over the fact that the Colts defensive line averages 265 pounds and are only 6'2". I think it said the Titans line is 6'5", 305 pounds. The Colts CB's are midgets as I said earlier. Hate to be physical and are always playing loose coverage.
Injury I think he's talking about. EDIT: Going to be a good matchup next weekend. Green Bay vs Tennessee. Arguably the two best CB's right now playing in that game.
Pierre Garcon? Is this guy from france or something? Crazy name lol! Indys D doing decently enough so far, if they can keep forcing FGs they will have a good shot to win the game. Titans need to start working Young back in for certain situations to open the playbook a bit more. I dont see why he couldnt run a nice variant of the Wildcat for instance.
I agree about Young. I wonder why teams don't blitz more against the Titans. Collins is not mobile, even though he does have very good pocket presence. I think if teams blitzed him more, he would fall apart. I also think that they have to figure out a way to keep LenDale White out of this game. He's not quick enough for a speedy Colts defense.
Brown has played very well this year. It may have something to do with Haynesworth playing next to him but he's one of a couple guys whose played really well this year who haven't been talked about.
Playing next to Albert has a lot to do with it, but you know it takes something to be able to take advantage of someones presence like that and develop into your own bonafide force along with him. There is a difference between taking advantage of someone great next to you and becoming a good player in your own right. Guys like Lance Briggs and Osi Umeniyora come to mind as players like that.
Good points. Brown came on strong at the end of last year as well with Haynesworth in there. I wonder how much Brown has worked on his game because if I remember correctly, the Titans defensive line struggled with stopping the run when Haynesworth got injured, correct?
Yeah, they need to step it up. Fischers unwillingness to get a real WR is inexcusable, very one dimensional. Like I said, they definately need to get Young involved in the game somehow. Collins just isnt gonna put up many points. Thats fine when your D can shut down a team like KC or the Raiders, but its another when your going up against a team like Denver or Indy and need to score a few TDs to hang in there. That D will have a bad game or two and the O will need to step it up. With Collins, im not sure they can.
Wow really? Your gonna leave Clark that open? Not even put a man on him? What? Titans O must respond now, and I dont mean another FG.
Courtland Finnegan is so good. I'm disappointed in the Titans run defense and I'm surprised in how well Nick Harper has played for the Titans. I didn't think he could go man-to-man as I thought he was a zone CB. Also, they have to figure out a way to get Bulluck off of Dallas Clark. That just isn't working.
