Sundays I usually wake up at like 11:00 my time (central) and get ready for the game... Today I didn't set an alarm because I knew I'd be up before the game being it's at 3:00 CT... and what happens? I get up at 8:30! :pity:

I got up at 630 and went to Dunkin Donuts. Only one of the road, no line, warm coffee. Today rocked...

I am an early riser anyway, but today the internal clock was all effed up and had me up at 5:30. So, I used the extra time to make sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast. Need a good starchy breakfast to soak up the beer I will be consuming today as the 'Phins beat the Donkeys.

GB observes Daylight Savings Time? I thought we were the only ones silly enough that think we can dictate/manipulate time....

    Oh, I disagree.

I think we invented tools to better understand and track time, even a language to help us observe it, but somebody or something else invented time.

I have this terrible habit of going to bed at 1 A.M. and getting up at 4-4:30 every morning. Just a habit I developed in the Army and haven't been able to get rid of yet!

p.s. I've been retired for 15 years now, so it's been a long term illness!

I came up 4am drunk as ****.. Went to bed and someone woke me up at 9am trying to sell my hammers on my cell phone.. I had to ACTUALLY fully wake up to make sure I wasn't still drunk, I asked the guy like 10 times WTF he wanted, to which he would reply "hey its me dennis, from the sub shop, Remember you bought thouse hammers, I have more you said you wanted more." After about 10 mins of this I finally told the guy, sure meet me at the sub sho at 3 pm. but then I was awake, Which sucked... I fell back asleep about 10:00 and just woke up 20 mins ago..

btw... Vodka > Rum all they had at the party last night was rum.. Of course that didn't stop me from drinking.

Actually, I see your point and yes you were correct IMO.
We did invent tools that we use to track, and in fact those tools are exactly what we are manipulating. :knucks:

    Now then.....

Since it is your internal clock that goes off, do you still get up at 4? Or 3? Or actually 5?

Guess I have the advantage of living in Arizona where 4am is 4am 365... :tongue2:

I actually woke up at 4 AM. I normally am able to sleep until 5 on weekends but get up at 4 AM during the week. I've never have to set an alarm since I left the Army.

IF I am to get a workout in, the only time I have is 4am. Unfortunately my internal clock doesnt observe days off.

So, I guess the Army I serve is none other than my two daughters for it is because of them my schedule mandates the 4am thing.. :pity:
