So me and my lady are going to the 'Fins VS Niners game on dec 14th. The last home game. It's something we doing on our anniversary. It's going to be my 2nd game (was at the MN game two years ago, vs jets) Back then I had the nosebleed seats. This is her first game (she didint watch football until we go together...sure enought i converted her in to One of Us )) We are sitting in section 145, which, I guess is right by our sideline. Now, I need advice....I really wanna get few autographs. I was thinking...if I get a football, and tape a sharpie to it, and get somebodies attention on the sideline and throw it to them (im not afraid to be loud ) you think id get an autograph or two, and get the ball thrown back to me? Sorry if the idea sounds ridicilous, I know its pretty hard to get autographs. For people who have been to lots of games, what suggestions would you make? How early should we arrive? We won't be tailgating, but I wanna check out the museum (do i have to pay for that? ) And any overall suggestions? I know this doesnt really belong in this forum, but it's kinda slow and I figured Id post here, if its a problem I apologize. Thank You for reading and any input.
ask by first name (ie. if it's pennington don't just say "hey pennington" go "hey chad" or "chad pennington!"). say please - it'll go far. toss it out see what happens. maybe they'll even toss it around to other players i'd recommend getting there at least an hour early if not more. in your seats an hour early.
i would guess before would be better. just my opinion though. after they're probably ready to take showers and stuff.
i have no idea i've never been to a phins game and the only football game i've ever been to was a giants/ravens preseason game years ago.
not sure bro but i'm going to my first fins game this weekend so if i figure anything out i'll let you know
you have to have passes to catch them after the game....they come out at a special exit into the players parking lot. i had some last year but i got them straight from Rex Hadnot, so not quite sure how you get them... i would suggest before, cuz you won't be catching them afterward. p.s. come about an hour before the game...you can catch a beer or two, and i loveeee the fireworks and player introductions....definitely one of my favorite parts of home games....fans get pumped
It'll be tough to get autographs I think. The only way I've had experience with getting autographs has been with the dugout special they have where if you can get a group of like 10 people together, you can buy tickets to watch the game from the visitors dugout for about 300 bucks a piece, and the inside entrance to the dugout is right across from the Dolphins' locker room so you get to see them come out of the locker room before the game and go back in after the game. They also serve up some catering food to you if you're in the dugout. The time we did it, Zach came by to where we were across the hall from the locker room, signed some autographs, and gave his game gloves away.
ok bud here's the lowdown. i didn't even have a shot at getting autographs, so i'd suggest not trying to just stand along the bottom of the field.. there were people down on the field on the sideliens before the game but not sure what you had to do to get there. one thing i suggest, is to watch for the cheerleaders before the game. this week they did a photo-shoot and dance at the one radio station tent next to the gift shop, it was wonderful. don't really have any tips on parking, other than if you are parking in an outside lot/cash lot, park as close to the turnpike as possible. we were able to get out really quickly from lot 16. i had an amazing time, i hope you have as great an experience as I did
