Excellent suggestion Pastor and Deb. When my dad was dying my mom had a hospice worker come into the home and take care of him. She always says the best thing to come out of Medicare was the hospice program. This man took wonderful care of my dad for almost a year while he was dying and even kept in touch with my mother afterwards.

I agree, Pastor. Hospice are one of God's angels on earth. They have incredible sympathy and care. They are amazing.

 Raul - this man was so tender and gentle with my dad and when he could no longer walk - he used to carry him up and down three flights of stairs so he could at least "be with" his family, although he had hardly any faculties left. This was in the last stages of the disease.

Very very sorry to hear this Mrs. Debby. It seems like both of our family and friends have the same situation. I wish him the best. Stay strong.

    Here's the latest from Kathy..

have asked the doctors if Jim will be able to go home this week and he asked me to give him 72 hours to read the biopsy results. If the doctors feel there is absolutely nothing more that can be done Jim will come home this week-end. The doctors here will set up his care at home which will in hospice. The medicine Jim is taking to lower his potassium is not helping. His level is around 5.4 and if it reaches 6 it can affect his heart. With God all things are possible so keep praying for that miracle.

    Love,
    Kathy

Please keep lifting them up in prayer.
Me too. I just hate the thought of us not having Jim here with us. I know he'll be in a better place, but we'll miss his physical presence here so bad.
    Thanks guys.

I wish I had of had this place when I lost my mom, which was around 14 years ago. The people on here have been such comfort to me about my friends.
There's never a problem with prayer, love and good thoughts in here.
    Love,
    Debby

    Debby,
I am sorry to hear the horrible news. Take this as a time to reflect on the good times you all shared. I hope that his family will cherish these last moments on earth that Jim will have, and that each and every remaining breath is filled with love for his family. :amen:

Sorry to hear that Debby. He and his family are still in my prayers. Hopefully the biopsy results aren't too bad. It usually takes a while to interpret them and I can understand the anxiety of waiting for the results from both ends. Thankfully your doctors are willing to help set up care. The ones who treated my dad didn't.

    Thank you for your prayers.
They are finally doing the Liver biopsy today, probably about now. They were supposed to do it a week ago, but kept putting it off.
If it doesn't show what they need, they'll do more on Thurs. He's been through so much all I can do is cry for him and Kath.
I'm so sorry no one offered to help with your dad. I wasn't sure what they would do up in Ohio until Kath told me.
You and your family will be in my prayers also.
    God Bless,
    Debby
