From his game winning catch last year, to his consistency this year. I would love to get him locked up long term. He is a great asset to this team.
I think he is quickly making everyone forget our old #83 (Wes Welker). I know Welker still gets a lot of catches but they all seem to be the little five yard dink passes....Camarillo seems to get downfield a lot further, and you rarely see Welker making a catch in the end zone. I hope we sign Camarillo to a nice long term deal.
We threw that hungy dog a bone and he has shown his loyalty to us and it's time we show him our loyalty.
Yeah, camarillo's consistency and production for us this year deserves a deal for him. Nothing huge though
I'm so glad to see this happening to Greg as I feel he truly deserves it. Also its just one more thing that I like about our present FO. I'm sure if they feel that Carey deserves it he will get it , if not, well then Bye Bye!!
Greg C is good, but let's not break the bank for our future #3 Wr. Old School, and only half a season, but he has some JT Smith in him, a Wr who caught on later in his career who...just...caught...the...damn...ball... Somewhere Derek Hagan should be taking notes...
Camarillo has been a really pleasant surprise and I would love to sign him to a new deal. The dude just moves the chains and has become a big part of our successful offense. A guy like that does not come a dime a dozen.
Camarillo has been very good to us this year and is on pace for 960 yards if my math is right. He's runs very good routes, has good hands, decent speed, moves the chains and can come down with a tough catch at times. He deserves a new contract. I'm thinking around 4 years for $12-$14 million.
Considering he's a RFA he's got limited options. I say the team rewards him but with something more along the lines of what Ernest Wilford got.
Wilford is the 13th highest paid WR in the league, I believe... I don't think we should be paying Camarillo that kind of money...
