Watching it on NFL Live. Chad Johnson has been inactivated for tonight's game after falling asleep in a meeting and then opening his mouth yet again. Marvin Lewis had enough of it and inactivated him. The Bengals and Johnson should split in my opinion. As much as I enjoy watching Chad, he's a detriment to that team and should be moved. I thought it was a terrible idea to decline two first rounders from the Redskins only a year ago.

Yeah they should have definately jumped at that trade. Great reciever, but its clear he doesnt really want to be there. Why they didnt take such a nice package to offload a problem is beyond me.

I would've taken the two first rounders, too?

Chad Ocho Cinco is a great receiver but it's not like he's the next Jerry Rice or anything.

Refusing that trade illustrates the reason by the Bengals are bad year in and year out.

wow, its just amazing reading that little quote that alen posted... its hard to believe were talking about grown men, who are professional athletes here. That sounds like a story my girlfriend would tell me after teaching a class of 3rd graders for the day... unbelievable.

If he keeps this up the Bengals will let him go for a lint roller and half a bag of tootsie rolls just to get rid of his bad attitude.

I'm very interested to see who they hire after Marvin is gone at the end of the year (I'm assuming he will be). I know there's a lot of talk about Bill Cowher in Ohio, whether its with the Browns or Bengals organization.

Most buzz on the Cincy sports radio shows is that Marvin is probably back if he wants to come back. He's still got 2 or 3 more years left on his contract.

The problem most of the former players turned announcers (i.e. Dave Lapham, Bob Trumpy, etc.) say is the relationship between Mike Brown and Marvin Lewis and not having a GM.

Marvin wanted Chad out; Brown refused the trade with the Redskins. Marvin cut Chris Henry; Brown brings him back. Brown soured on Rudi Johnson for missing time in TC, a standard practice they've done over the last three years, and cut him.

Chad Johnson has been late to numerous meetings during his Bengals tenure, this is just the first report because the team actually disciplined him for it this time.
