was it just me or did Ted Ginn seem to return kick-offs with an eye towards NOT getting hit...and headed towards the side lines ( as if he was following his blocking and they lead him that way) on the first two or three times. He just seemed to revert to the first few games of the season and did not run with confidence.
You can't run with confidence when there isn't anyplace to go...our STs return teams still suck and you can't blame Ginn for not having a place to run to...the returns are supposed to be set up so that Ginn has a side to run to...and if he's running to that side and the wall has broken down, which it has on just about every return...well, how is that totally Ginn's fault ?? There is just so much more wrong with both our return and coverage units that it's almost funny...blaming one guy is just wrong...
They mentioned it during the game, Tasker said he wasn't hitting the whole fast enough and trying to go around the outside to much. But Tasket also mentioned its hard to be a returner when your a starting WR, he mentioned how it has effected Hester, and in the past guys like Dante Hall.
your right...his future and money is in the reciever postion and not the returner spot....without his legs his wallet will shrink
