There is an interesting stat for you, now we just need to extend the streak for the last 2 games to capture the AFC East baby.

Last 2 teams to have the same feat were the Titans and Steelers back in the 2000 season. Facts courtesy of the sunsentinel.

Why not? KC is no powerhouse. Our fat boys in the middle have been stellar and our ILBs have really improved their game.

Yep, even Solai received praise for his play last week. I still really like Starks, extremely powerful guy with an excellent bull rush who very well could end up playing as our NT in the next 2 years. We have to remember Starks has almost zero experience playing at the Nose in college and with the Titans.

I expect KC to score, in fact I expect a TD pass to Tony G since we have a problem covering TE's

That's true, but I prefer to keep Starks at end. I'm not saying he can't do it. I prefer to keep him where he is making plays.

Would not surprise me especially with Crowder nursing a sore knee this week. Wondering if Jason Allen gets a go this week if his hand is healed well enough.

Perfect scenario is for Langford and Merling to continue to improve and raise their game and sort of phase Starks into the position over time if Solai is not going to be the answer.

    Live from the Internet.
Or Langford and Merling play DE.
AND Solai with Starks at NT. Big boys need to rotate. Plus Starks is excellent depth, he can play both positions.

    Strategy against cheifs

As long as we stick to our gameplan
    No turnovers
and let them start in their own 20 and i dont think kc can drive that far
so we dont even need red zone D

Well, the 49ers, Bills and Rams moved the ball on us. The defense has been bending but not breaking, but they have been giving up yards.

I just don't want Starks defending a QB sneak! Wasn't he the guy who whiffed on Schaub?

I think KC will score a TD. In fact I'm nervous about the game as a whole.

But this is a pretty meaningful game so that could be it, too.

Aww come on... you don't have to worry about the Chumps.. opps Chiefs.. You should leave all of your starters at home just so they won't get hurt for the BIG game at the Jets.

I mean after all, we are only 2 - 12.. you shouldn't worry about this game at all....

I wouldn't mind not allowing a TD for the 4th game but i believe we will win nevertheless. We are going to give up yds as we seen but when push comes to shove, we won't disappoint. I see the KC game as a win for us.

    have faith. go fins!

The Rams only had 278 yards of total offense, Buffalo certainly didn't move the ball against us gaining only 163 yards of total offense and SF gained 318 yards of total offense. Only SF had real success moving the ball and keeping our offense off the field.

Starks gives good pressure up the middle on passing downs, something Fergie and Soliai don't offer.

We've kept three teams out of the endzone, but Losman and a declining Bulger are not exactly Kelly or Warner in their primes..we have alot of room for improvement especially on meeting the ball carrier in the hole and stuffing him.

Ever heard of the expression "you are only as good as your last game" Lets hope we arnt bending too much. Dont want to break wide open and let the floodgates open.

As nice as Starks has been for us, I rather he stick at defensive end. I don't think he can be a good, full-time player. I'd rather us draft a young guy like Peria Jerry and groom him. I've thought about moving Phillip Merling over to Nose. He seems to be packing on weight and I wouldn't be opposed to pulling a Jay Ratliff move here, kicking Merling inside. I'm curious if he holds up blocks well because I can't recall if he does and I haven't seen a Dolphins game in three weeks.
