We are division leaders right now via tiebreaker. Doesn't change what we have to do next week, but we will go in on top. Rejoice fins fans. We're going into week 17 the division leader. If someone told me that before the start of this season I would have never believed them. I'm proud of this team. Now we just need 1 more win.

If Denver loses, they will probably flex the Bronco/Charger game instead... This game doesnt mean as much now since the Jets likely cannot win the division any more considering the Patriots will probably win next week. So if the Jets beat us, the Pats win the division..

Yeah so now if the Jets were to win, they would get the division only if the Patriots lose?

or do the Patriots have to lose in order for the Jets to win the division?

Why the heck is it so hard to follow.

Some team will finish 10-6 and miss out....

If only the Bills had held on last week...

The only way the Jets get into the playoffs is a win, and a Pats or Ravens loss.

So at seasons end, is the AFC East the toughest division or is it the NFC East....?

We would still have to win. Unless we feel the Bills can beat the pats next week ...

I would have enjoyed the game either way because a win would have knocked the Patsie out of the East race but nothing, and I mean ......

nothing makes me happier than to see the Jetsons lose !!

You guys have to live here or listen to our local radio to get an idea of why us locals hate them so much. For the past month its constant Jetson fans calling in and totally discounting any chance for Miami to win it.

One dude named Poker Bob calls all the time saying how we don't match up well against them and there is no way they lose to us. Saying how they killed Miami in week one. Sadano tells him, hey man, you do know that Miami had a chance to win it in the last minute right? He says no way and that Miami was just lucky the entire game. Sadano again points out how FavRay throws up a wing and a prayer that was answered, and had that pass been batted away the Jetsons lose. The caller totally discounts it again.....and so on.

Just a quick thing I picked up. Lots of us were upset that we went for it on 4th down near the goal line this game instead of the 3, which would have given us a better margin of error today.

However, the Jets did exactly as you say is best, kicked the FG (half a yard against the 30th ranked D this year), and never scored another point.

I like being aggressive myself. Id rather go for the throat and get counterpunched than wuss up and still blow it. At this point in the season, if you cant gain the yard needed you deserve to lose. We still managed to pull it out today, which is even better. Coach challenged the O. We missed, but then came back and put up a load. Maybe that challenge lit a fire under them? Maybe they felt they needed to score to make up for the "lost" FG?

Either way, I hope we come out aggressive against the Jets as well. If we can kick them around early, we can put that game away. They will come out spoiling for a match and ruin our season, not to mention praying for a spot themselves. Some will have their jobs on the line (Mangenius) and others their badly wounded pride (Favre). They will come out looking to win and play hard and fast. If we smack them early, that fire should deflate and the team will collapse giving us the division. Next week is not a game to pussyfoot around. Lets go Miami, punch em while they are down and get us back to the playoffs!

You saw him say Miami is going to lose against the Jets? I think he has picked against Miami every week this season, Sapp is the only guy on NFLN who is giving Miami props.

I'm not sure but it might be the same dude thats been calling him every single day for the last 3 weeks. He comes on with a calm cool voice saying how there is absolutely no way the Jets lose the division. Sadano lets him stay on for a minute to but the dude will never acknowledge anything thats positive said towards Miami. He says come on Sedano like 20 times a call....

I'm dying to see if he calls tomorrow..

Dont think that will happen think about it. Nothing sexy about that matchup now Miami listen to this

Last year 1-15 Right now tied for the biggest turnaround in one season in the NFL history! Truly worst to first!

The Brett Farve effect- Big name can he do it?
Bigger Markets New York and Miami
Chad Pennington booted out, discarded Miami takes him in does he go back and Kill his old team!?

I think there are more reasons to flex us!

    NFL disagrees with you. LOL!

NFL wants a sure thing Div title game, not a hope and prayer that Jets may or may not impact anything.

So, its a done deal....Den vs. SD it is.

I worked hard today for those positive vibes....I had to leave the house, and watch the game without a chat room, etc.

I love this site, but my goodness can folks get crazy based on the score here and lose focus on being able to CRITIQUE what we are doing, what we make adjustments too, etc...and not simply CRITICIZE based solely on the score. Sheesh, its the NFL all teams can execute. I wish we as fans would step back on occation and simply appreciate what we are seeing and not rip into something that is part of the NFL....plays work, plays fail, and all teams can win a battle against another team. Thats reality.

We showed so much heart and will today. So proud, I was nervous, I was unsure what type of DEC team we had, but, baby, I loved it. I didnt mind the trailing at half, I wanted to see what our D had, what our O had, what the make up of this squad really was.

The coldest game in the History of this franchise and we pulled it off. I think that needs to be remembered for a long time here. No ands, ifs, or buts...just remember what this squad did on this day and its impact to this franchise.

So many positives.....I am so pumped to enjoy next week, and any week after that. Regardless, we did something no other franchise has ever done. What a turn around. We can add to it, but if we dont it doesnt diminish what we did accomplish.

Brother it has been a great season. We can stay in games, come from behind, win on the road and even in the cold. We are playing team ball and we should be very proud of our team! I am very impressed with there mental makeup as a team right now.:knucks:

I give credit to all of us that traveled to watch Week #2 and the debacle in the desert....we absorbed all the evil vibes hanging over them. And they have gone on since that to rack up 10 W and 3 Loses!!

P.S. Once I got home, I did a full body cleanse...so no evil exists in me....I recommend all those that saw that day in the desert do the same quickly.....hahahahahaahahahaa:hi5::up::knucks:

Dolphins/Jets 2 years ago was on Christmas night on MNF and I thought that it would be the greatest christmas present the Dolphins could ever give me. Of course, we lost that game. Now I know this game will be played 3 days after Christmas, but this game could be the best Christmas Present the Fins have ever given me. I can't remember a bigger Dolphins game, much less a Fins/Jets game in the past 10 years. I'm so excited I don't know how I'll make it till next sunday.
