Thanks, yeah it's my work. I'm disappointed because the place I work at took away all student employees admin privileges so I can no longer add fonts so it's not the exact look I wanted. But I was going for the Matrix style sig..

Greene should be a good back, a blend of Ronnie Brown (vision) and Lendale White (style). I think his vision is what makes him a better NFL back than Ringer, just IMO.

I wouldnt count on Benson either. I could see them going the way that Minny did and taking Wells. He would put bodies in seats for one. He would also make teams respect the run much more so they couldnt key in on a constant pass rush, or drop loads back into coverage and blanket the recievers. I wonder if they dump both Ocho and TJ though, thats alot to lose in one year. If they keep one, a RB is the natural pick, if they dump both it could be WR.

Chiefs are hard to call until we know for sure Herm is coming back or gettin canned.

Herm Edwards as the Head Coach, the chances of a Qb being drafted are very small, plus Thigpen played well for a 2-14 team, and he is mobile..a key for a Qb on a bad team.

The only thing that should be cut is Chris Perry...

The Bengals are a parakeet franchise Alen, if they can re-up Benson and stay out of the top ten Rb in the NFL salary, they will do so, why overpay for a Rb in the draft when Benson can do the same sort of things at half the price and save the draft pick?

*"Parakeet Franchise..a parakeet flew over the Bengals Stadium and shook it's head and mutter cheap cheap,..cheap cheap..they are the Bills..without the cash.

I don't expect Herm back, if he isn't gone already.

Bradford is mobile as well. Not as mobile as Thigpen, but he's mobile. He's far more accurate though.

The Bengals also lack a competent scouting department, which is why I expect them to go with the big name and because it will put people in their seats. Benson is not a good back. He's better than Moreno right now because Moreno hasn't stepped on an NFL field yet, however, I believe Moreno is far more talented and can be an option out of the backfield, which Cincinnati is big on.

He brought in a nice draft class last year but I don't think he's a good coach.

No, not yet anyway, IIRC, youngster Hunt is looking to hire a GM now that King Karl is no more.

I don't care for Herm, to me, he is too much rah rah and rapport, and not enough X and O's.

And did he bring them in, or did the departed King Karl Peterson bring them in?

Yep, there are only two messages when a losing coach drafts a Qb:

    1. I'll be here awhile
    2. I'd better win now, that Rook Qb won't help me win, the Front Office is looking past me being here.

When Cam took John Beck, he was thinking #1...

Aqua passing on a Wr? What is the world coming to!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :tongue2:

Disagree, you take guys early, they should show something, to follow that line of thinking, The Bengals are planning on the Caldwell and Simpson of starting and losing Ocho Adios and Whoseyadaddy...and they've shown..-0-..

Herm is the Isiah Thomas of the NFL, he brings in solid players but cant coach them. Let Herm do what he does best let him scout, and be a coordinator again, look at Cam it can be done.

I think BJ Raji is a first rounder, and if he is on the board at #25, I think that is who we take. He is a masher and will keep guys from running up the middle on us (like Marshawn Lynch). I also could see us going with Ron Brace, his teamate, later on in the 2nd round if we don't take a NT in the first.

I don't see Raji on your board though. I also like our chances taking Raji or Jerry is either one is there when we pick.

I think that Herm's future really depends on who Clark Hunt brings in as GM. I could see him wanting to pair a new GM with a new coach to go with the young team. Peterson's term has been so long that its almost time for a complete re-vamp. That said, Herm had his ups and downs. For being a defensive coach when he arrived in KC, the defense was pretty bad. The offense can score with most anyone in the league but they get absolutely no pass rush and are starting some LBs that should be nothing more than depth on other teams.

For the sake of doing the mock right now, KC will take a QB. Although Thigpen has been a pleasant surprise, the fans need a sign of change. A quarterback, whether its Stafford or Bradford, signals just that. Thigpen can hold the reins as the young player develops. If Thigpen ends up being the real deal, then you have trade bait. By picking so early in the 2nd, you can get a shot at some pass rushing DEs such as Selvie, English, Hardy etc. On a team with so many needs, it is important to maximize the efficiency of your picks.

If the Amazing Self-Decapitating Man (the artist formerly known as Herm Edwards) gets another year to ruin Kansas City then there's a strong possibility that the spread offense is there to stay - at least for a while - and suddenly a guy like Graham Harrell becomes a very likely target for the Chiefs in the latter rounds of the draft. Here's a scenario I wouldn't consider absolutely impossible if Herm and the spread stick around: Crabtree in the first, Harrell in the second.

Never say never but considering this FO has a proven track record of picking productive and consistent players I would be very surprised (and more than slightly annoyed) if they suddenly drafted a guy who habitually plays down to the level of his competition and fails to dominate against lesser opponents. A boom or bust player - no matter the position - is about the last guy I see us picking in the first round.

What I like about both of them is that whilst neither is blessed with breakaway speed, they're all workhorses with tremendous power. Ringer takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. This is a very good draft for backs who can work between the tackles with some power, especially throwing Moreno and Coffee in specifically.

The obvious answer is to say that they're the Bengals, but down the stretch, he looked like that 4th overall pick game after game. I think the running backs coach there is something of a father figure to him and was instrumental in bringing him over. What he found in Cincy which he never found in Chicago was the ability to hit the big run and the consistency.

He looked pretty good but I wouldn't franchise him or count on him to be my franchise back. Yeah he's still young but he is prone to mistakes. He had a lot of carries to get yardage as well - averaged 3.5 per carry.

I wouldnt franchise him, but if they think he can remain under control I can see them passing on top RBs and trying to find a backup 3rd down back in a later round. They certainly are there with a guy like Chris Johnson in the second or Steve Slaton in the 4th. Let Benson be your hammer and let the rook be your slasher/speed guy.
That way they can go somewhere else in the first. Crabtree will garner mention if both CJ and TJ are gone, or possibly LT. And of course their defensive fronts are terrible. A stud DE/DT wouldnt be out of place.

If you could pick two out of three containing Hughes/English/Sintim, who would you choose?

Man, that would be hard. I like Larry English a lot but he seems to struggle setting the edge. Sintim is a good player who can do it all and Hughes has incredible athleticism. Give me Hughes and ugh man, I don't know between English and Sintim.

I've been high on Hughes since I first saw him - the bowl game. Not too long but I really like his athleticism, use of hands, relentless motor and is speed off the edge.

Me too. Sintim is my absolute favorite player in this draft. I want him in aqua next year. Alen has done nothing but pimp English to me the last six weeks in our convos, I did some research and I like what I see.

Anybody else be opposed to taking two OLB's in the first three picks?

That would make too much sense for them to take a WR that high. :shifty:
If they dont draft a QB this yr and the Bears flop again I cant see Smith staying much longer in Chicago.
