Ethan is in Dallas and is providing some great insight into Tony Sparano and what the players think of him .In addition there is a preview as to what other Cowboy coaches we can expect to join Sparano in the near future when/if he should be offered the job. Some of the coaches that have been mentioned are Todd Bowles and Paul Pasqualoni and Bill Muir.

Its an interesting writeup.Suffice it to say that I think we will be in good hands

Wait! There is no guarantee Sparano will be our head coach yet! ;)

He sounds like the porridge that's just right - a prefect complement to Parcells' "too hot".

He'll be a good buffer between the players and how coarse Parcells can sometimes be; yet not soft like Wannstedt or spineless like Cameron.

I like a lot of what is going on CT. If he is HC I will be extremely happy, but how to we get rid of the Dallas Dolphins tag that we will surely be labelled with.

Has anybody got anything that will divert the flak away from the Dallas link (funny or not). I know that already we are getting Avatars showing Tony Soprano, but is there anything else at all that will give us our own Identity. I know it may be small fry for a lot of you, but i really don't like the idea of being labelled the Dallas Reserve team. Maybe it is just me, but I just want to shake off this dallas influence. I want our own identity regardless of who is here as a HC.

Don't worry shag ( ) if we win more than they do, they'll become known as the Dallas Dolphins.

They can become our very own portrait of Dorian Gray.

Sorry Shag.We have done a miserable job of establishing our own identity since the Shula days.

We might as well borrow from one that has been succesful until we establish a structure to allow us to formulate our own identity .

Actually its the players that help establish an identity.Look at the Shula years .When we had Csonka we were a running team, with Marino we were a passing team.

Good coaches will fit the system to the playmakers .

None of us are famous until we die. Look out for me in the 2050's

  16. People can joke about being dallas south or whatever they label they want to hang on us but bottom line is we are going to be tagged as a parcells team. Parcells is in town waving his paintbrush over us to revamp us. It is no coicidence that we are aquiring so many people from Dallas. Parcells is going to revamp us and cripple Jerry Jones at the same time. There is bad blood there and it has not gone unfrogotten by Bill, just like I believe Belicheat is in his sites as well. I say in 3yrs we will be making a run at the superbowl and being boss again in our division.

Right. What's so bad about that? Better that than the "worst team in the league".

There is an article in todays Herald mentioning one of the above names Bill Muir who would be hired an the OL coach.

    Tampa's Muir next assistant?
