The first trailer to Warner Bros. Pictures action drama movie, "Gran Torino" has come out. More than two-minute long, it gives a clear introduction about Clint Eastwood's character, Walt Kowalski. Described to be a racist Korean War veteran who holds his value and belief tightly, he is forced to rethink about his prejudices towards the others after forcing an Asian-American gang to get off of his lawn one night. I can't wait to see this movie thoughts Clint Eastwood's 'Gran Torino' Welcomes Trailer
Clint's the man. Can't remember ever seeing anything he was involved in that wasn't good if not great.
Saw it today. It's probably not what a lot of people think or expect. But, Eastwood was great and it had a good story line.
I just got back from the theater after seeing this ... I thought it was awesome. I don't want to get too much into it, so I won't reveal plot, but let's just say I thought it was phenomenal and leave it at that.
i liked gran torino, though I do think its way different then the previews try to make it to be......
Yeah, a couple of things on that ... Spoiler The movie trailer makes it look like it's going to be a Dirty Harry-style vigilante film, and it's more of a study about how old people stereotype people. I was also surprised at how funny and touching the film was. I still loved it, but I don't think it's necessarily a film that all the audiences are going to appreciate. Some folks will feel gypped because Clint Eastwood never even shoots anyone on screen.
Been there ... done that bro ... my wife drug me to "Where the Heart Is" early on in our marriage ... I've never really lived that down.
Just saw this movie yesterday, pretty sweet. Tons of action, so there is never a dull moment. Plus Eastwood is great ( as always!)
