Business Management or Dentistry???

I am currently in my 2nd year at UCF, although I am a Junior credit-wise. My major right now is Business Management and don't get me wrong Business is a fine career, but lately I have been seriously considering switching majors to become a Dentsit.

I have a 3.71 GPA right now and think I could tough it out and become a Dentist. Why have I been thinking about becoming a Dentist? Many reasons. After you Graduate school you already know what you are going to do, whereas with a Business Management Degree you could go in many different directions. As a Denist you start off making a big chunk of change and it increases as your experience level and value to the Office you work in increases.

Before I was ashamed to admit it, but money is one of the most important things in a job for me. I am usually a happy person so it doesn't really matter what I am doing for a job, so the money parts important for me.

I was in my High School's Medical Academy all throughout high school so I already will have an advantage over other people just starting in the field. In high school I thought I wanted to be a Doctor or a Sports Doctor, but towards the end of my Senior year I lost most interest. I never really considered becoming a Dentist until now though.

Im also considering finishing my Business Management Degree and then working on getting a Dentistry Degree, but I am not sure if that would be a waste of time.

Right now I am still in the process of thinking everything out and weighing the pros and cons. What are your thoughts?

***Oh and I already know that dentists have a significantly high suicide rate. I looked into the reasoning and couldn't find anything definate. I am not concerned with this though.***
