I basically live in the doghouse....one of my brighter "doghouse" highlights was one day she was in the kitchen and she was pissed off so I asked her what was wrong? She looked at me and said "I'm tired of the kitchen always being filthy" so in my internal wisdom I looked at her and simply stated, "well then clean it."...
I say things to my wife to get a rise out of her often, but this instance I know I went to far.... I asked her "if" she were to die, which of her sisters would she perfer me to marry and which one did she think I was most compatible with (she has 6 sisters and all are fine looking!). I highly recommend to anyone not to do that. My life sucked for quit awile.
My GF was complaining about her hair and nails taking so long to grow. I then missed the flashing lights and "don't go there son!" signs and said it wasn't as bad as having quick growing hair and nails - I work as a chef and it is quite a PITA for me.
Hmmmmmmm......I should send you to the COLT website. That might change your whole life.....and give the rest of the guys here insecurity complexes. Trust me a lot of growers, not show-ers on that site.
Ouch...would think most of us can relate and have "been there, done that". Worst for me, after my bride spent close to 60min getting ready, shoes to hair, etc (120min planning)....after yelling down different colors and styles she was debating with....and I knew with each minute we were falling further and further behind our pre-agreed timeframe to get to this event on time (business reasons)...finally she comes down, and I look up and say "Is that what you are wearing?"....the minute the words came out I knew I screwed the pooch.....cause, it wasnt what I meant; I meant, finally are we set, as in, you arent changing or simply asking my 10th opinion on color and style, its perfect, you look perfect, ok, we can go..... Nope, that was the quietest business dinner and drive to and from I have ever spent....finally, since of course the story was passed among the table, the ice was somewhat broken, but it took weeks to finally let the steam blow over and have her honestly know my intentions and not just my words. Boy have I learned, now its "you look great, are we set??" that way she knows what I mean, and let her acknowledge that we are set to leave....hahahahaa.
My GF almost dumped me the first week we were together. I was admiring the view from the back when I blurted out the first thing that came to my mind, which I do waaay too often anyways. I looked at her and said "Man you go a fat a$$". I meant it in a good way, I swear.
