Just a way of recognizing guys who make contributions too important to ignore but not good enough to be superstars.
I read it on another type of article, The All-Joe team takes its name from Joe Phillips, a defensive tackle for 14 years for the San Diego Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Rams and Minnesota Vikings before his retirement in 1999. He was considered a real BLUE-COLAR (hard worker) type player. Now it seams that everyone has an award, but the way thing year's past has gone I guess we'll take it.
ha...cool i guess...do they get any little trophy or anything...The fans should get recognition like that for paying their salaries :-)
