I need ya'lls opinion on something. I have a 42" rear projection Sony LCD that a coworker wants to buy from me. Not knowing what something like this would be worth (either of us) we agreed on $500. Do you think this is a fair price for both of us? Or lopsided one way? It's the Grand Wega 720p/1080i model. It's a little over 3 yrs old and has worked like a champ. Thoughts? Thanks, bg.
I have the exact same TV accept mine is two years old. GREAT T.V. in my opinion. I think $500.00 is a fair price for you. It's funny actually, I have agreed to sell mine to my Mother in 6 months for the exact same price...LOL! Need.....to.....get.....a......52".
Bad deal for him, great deal for you. There have recently been 42 inch 720P name brand Plasma sets for as low as 700-800 brand new. Honestly for a 3 year old set like that I might give you $300.
Bad deal for him, I agree.* Considering its age and size.* It isn't completely unfair deal, but you are definitely winning out.* I'd think $425/450 would be more fair. That is unless you're helping him move it.
Well, he came and got it (drove 40 miles too, lol). He's happy with it, so I guess that's all that matters. To be honest, I would have taken $425-$450 for it. Oh well, now it's off to find it's replacement tomorrow! So many options, lol.
