    http://condraft.com/mocks/round-1.html

Round 1 - DT Glenn Dorsey
Round 2 - CB Antoine Cason
Round 2 - TE Fred Davis
    Round 3 - WR James Hardy (6'7'', 220 pounds)

I have doubts about Davis slipping that far but Martin Rucker should be there.... I love this mock:thumbup:

Wow that would be a dream come true. That would have to be rated the best draft class of that draft for sure. Hope we can snag half of those players.

Hardy won't be a fin. Boomer highlighted some personal stuff that will in al likelihood preclude his arrival in S.FLA

and IMO this would be much better.

    1. Chris Long DE
    2a. Mike Williams CB
    2b. Chris Williams T
    3. B. Bell MLB
    4.Joe John Finley TE

do u think if we offered NEXT YEAR's 1st round pick for their TWO first round picks, the Cowboys would do it? they may think that we would have a low pick next year....but having 4 picks in the first round would give us 4 stars on defense without a doubt....so u may see us jump.

If they want to move up the 2 first they have wouldn't cover it. They still would need to throw in their first for next year too if you go by the chart.

That way you can have two years of 2 first rounders, a little easier on the cap aswell.

So you are secretly the largest crack smuggler in the U.S. and plan to disseminate your product to every personnel man before the draft.

If only I had such grand aspirations. :)

I'd LOVE to get Cason at pick 32. He's my favorite corner in the draft, but I suspect he'll be long gone by then.

    In the draft war room
Hardy is rated as being no worse then a late 1st rounder. I highly doubt he'll be there in Round 3.

I take it we would have that Cowboys LT if we dont pick a lineman day one.

Any news on Quentin Moses? How did he do this year? Is he something like D. Underwood? Why was he cut twice anyway? What is the word...

Here is what I think we could do realistically:

    1. Dorsey
    2a. Davis, TE, USC
2b. Manningham/Doucet or Earl Bennett, WR (take best WR available out of these 3)
    3. Flacco QB Deleware, or DeJuan Tribble, D-Back Boston College

Best draft would be to trade down. IMO.

Oakland wants Glenn Dorsey because Sapp retired. Say they have #3 or 4 pick.
    Trade our #1 for their #1, 2, and 4.

With that pick… trade to Dallas, they want McFadden. Barber is an FA. We get #1 from Cleve. their #1, 2, 3, and 5.

All trades above are below the value chart. Just close the deal.

    We go 3-4.

    We get :

    1. from DA via Cleve. Calais Campbell DE 6-8 4.77 Teams with 6-6 JT. What a pair.
    1. from DA Quentin Groves OLB 4.54 Blitzer.
    2. Donnie Avery WR 4.28 joining with 4.30 Ginn. WOW!
    2. from Oak. Chris Williams OT Doesn’t allow sacks.
    2. from SD Dre Moore NT/DT 4.82 Excels at stopping the run and getting to the QB.
    2. from DA Jonathan Goff ILB 4.63 One of top SEC players. Teams with ZT?
    3. Colt Brennan QB Green will be gone and possibly Cleo. Value here.
    3. from DA Bruce Davis OLB 4.67 Blitzer. or Shawn Crable 4.59 Blitzer.
    4. Wesley Woodyard SS 4.41 Instinctive player, always around ball. Bell is injury prone.
    4. from Oak. Dwight Lowery CB 4.38 Interception machine. **
    5. from Den. Jeremy Leman ILB 4.77 152 tackles in 2006. **
    5. from DA Davone Bess SLOT 4.51 Joins Camarillo as possession rcvrs.
    6. Jordon Dizon OLB 4.64 Led nation in solo tackles in 2007. Use as special team ace.
    6. from Chi. James Rivers WR 4.49 Scout.com-one of most under rated player in draft.
42 catches and 700+ yds in 4 bowl games. Xlnt 3rd WR.

We do not have 5th round picks. Traded to KC for T. Green.
Trade Donnie S. (former Den. LB) and R. Williams (once coveted by Den.) and #7 to Denver for this years #5.
Marty Booker to SD for #6, or Chi.
