The video on the Dolphins website SUCKS. After finally getting it to work, I must say that Sparano looks, sounds, and dresses like an o-line coach. Did he get that tie at Burlington Coat Factory?

lol im really excited for this coach. i like what he is saying and i think he knows what hes going to do and i honestly think he will be successful here with the Miami Dolphins. I like when he stated that they were gonna implement a system that fitted the players, not the players fitted the system. something along those lines, i thought it was a very smart comment that showed his knowledge.

    Well away from here
Nick Saban looked nice, Cam had a tan. I want a guy who looks like ****, that way i know he cares about football, nothing else.

Lets get this mother on the move, Senior Bowl next week.

    got that right.

best part of the whole thing:

" it's funny you say that, that's where I came from....but that's not where it started."

Sparano on coming here from Dallas, and the difference in winning and the like.

I like this guy, he don't mince words.

I'm not jumping on anyone's bandwagon or buying into their coachspeak until they show me they can win on a consistent basis.

Agree I remember getting giddy over Saban due to the BB connection and how BB got advice from Saban. Look how that turned out. I will say I like the hire and am optimistic but will reserve judgement until I see effort on the field. He has a lot of work to do after the mess that he was left to clean up.

Interesting press conference. Bigger is not necessarily better? We arent tied to the 3-4? Is Jake Long or Ryan Clady a possibility with our first? If we go 4-3, Dorsey is back on the radar. 3-4 he had no shot being a Dolphin but 4-3 he'll be a monster. Man, to me, that press conference had a ton of surprises. I'm a little cvoncerned that he wont go to the Senior Bowl the year we have a number one overall

I think if Dorsey is 100% health wise then he looks like the best of the best...I still am hoping we will do a trade down for extra picks, but if not, Dorsey will pretty much shut down the middle defensively. I think a lot will depend on whether or not we keep JT or trade him him away, and also whether we we stick with the 3-4 or go to a 4-3. I think we take Dorsey and go with the 4-3.

Yeah. I think if we go 4-3 long term and not just one year while we transition and Dorsey is healthy then I think he may very well be the choice. Although I was a little suprised to hear him emphasize the Oline more. Considering his background I can completely understand that but could he fall in love with Jake Long or Ryan Clady. Very interesting. I'll be very interested in how things develop with this team because it seemed to me he's not committed to any one philosophy which leads the door open to anything. I wonder how much say he's going to have in personnell decisions or whether he's going to be given players by Parcells and Ireland and told to work with it

Bring in changes (talent) on the Oline... (TE) and you'll the QBs perform better..., as will the RBs and WRs

BP, Ireland, and Sparano aren't joking around..., they know the Oline matters

It's not a problem that Sparano is NOT going to the Senior Bowl. Parcells, Ireland and Gaine will be there scouting. We're in good shape!!

It's funny. They probably have a very different kind of respect for Mr. Huizuenga considering Wayne's past in waste mgmt, than Cam the choirboy.:gun_bandana:

I agree. The first and most fundemental things to do on a team is to build strong lines on both sides of the ball and get a top QB.
