Tomorrow, we take my littlest grandgirl, Hayley to have tests done in Atlanta at Scottish Rite hospital. I'm praying they'll be able to tell us the results tomorrow. This is because of the seizure she had 2 weeks ago. She's having an eeg and we're not sure what else. Please remember her and the rest of us in your prayers She's so little, just 6, and I'm scared, of course. She doesn't know it, I put up a good front for her. I'm just praying for it to be over and get good results back on the tests. Thanks every one. Debby
Wish her the best Mrs. Debby. Sidenote: Wish you the best of luck on the test, Regan. I know you'll do fine.
What have I missed? What kind of tests are you talking about? Are you ok? I'm sorry my memory is shot right now.
Y'all (that's since it will be in Atlanta) have my prayers. On a side note, I am very hopeful you get an answer but be prepared not to get one. I have seen in my ministry a number of young people who have one seizure and never have another and the reason is never discovered. While I pray for an answer for y'all, I pray even harder that nothing is wrong now and in the future.
Me too Pastor. A lot of people tell us that. I've prayed for the Lord to just take care of her and to bless the Dr. I know it may be wishful thinking about the results, but, there's always hope. Thanks, I know I can always count on you and the others here for prayer. side note: I'm originally from Ohio so I say you guys! When I moved down here it was like a foreign language at times.
I was originally from NJ where it was "youse guys"! I learned "y'all" from my days in seminary in SC.
Well, it's not a test that allows doctors to diagnose illnesses but it's a test that allows doctors to determine which medical school I go to, if any. Still a test in the sense of the word though different use. Date's in my current user title and even though the results aren't released till a month later, the most important parts of the results are already set in stone the minute you leave the test center. Pretty nervous right now and I've probably lost a clump of hair due to the stress but other than that, I'm ok.
Thanks bro! Thanks Debby! Visiting the forum on breaks definitely prevented me from getting sick from all the stress the test comes with.
Good luck, we could use a doctor on this site, there are some siiiiiiiiiiiiiiick people here! I would suggest a residency in psychiatry
Considering all the psych classes I've taken as an undergrad, it would seem I'm destined to go there (though most of the classes I took just to be with the gf).
Hi guys & gals, We took Hayley to Atlanta. The Doc gave her a neuro exam today. But, we go back on the 2nd for an mri and eeg. He didn't want to over whelm her I guess, plus, it's very hard to get in for the eeg and mri. He really got her in quicker than normal. He also gave her some meds, incase there's another seizure that lasts for more than 3 minutes. She's a trooper, not scared or anything. All she wanted was to go to Burger King after the Dr. got done. I'll Keep you all up-dated. Love all of you and thanks for the prayers. Debby
