I would be too lol. I got nine weeks exams this week and I'm nervous but thats nothing like hers lol.
Well.. My name is Jay and I live in Delaware.. I graduated UD in 2007 and I'm going to get my masters this May. After that, who knows? Maybe dental school.. I live with my girlfriend and two dogs just off the UD campus. We have one roommate who's going to be moving out in June so it's going to just be the two of us for the first time.. Should be pretty intersting. No plans for an engagement any time soon, but maybe after I get all done school (dental school is 4 years, so lets hope I make it in.) I've been a finfan for a long time. An uncle came to visit when I was about 4 and put a hat on my head, and I've been die hard ever since. I've got a bunch of memorabilia, but I would have to say my prized possession is a team signed '72 helmet. Got it as a present about 8 years ago and it sits at the center of my collection.
Oh yea, now I remember. I played golf 3 weeks ago on a Saturday and it was 73, then we got 2 inches of snow on Sunday.
Brother...very very good to see you in here. To the powers that be, is there anything we can do for this man to retain his former name?....not that changing names is a good thing..
Yomping is a hike in full kit, generally a military term. We used to go on yomps when I was in the CCF in school at Aldershot in Hampshire.
MODS/ADMINS... Is it possible to get that WONDERFULL IGNORE option up and running in here? Just asking
My name is Scott Eggleston. I am a native Floridian and have lived in Broward County for my 34+ years. I am happily divorced and have a six year old son who is literally my mini-me. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I have grown up a Fins fan and thankfully he is following in my footsteps (although it's hard explaining to him why we only won 1 game last year). Did I say I was happily divorced???? I have a great girlfriend of two years. She has no care for sports, but roots for whoever I am. I also have 2 future step kids that I adore. One is 12 the other 9. Got my own half a Brady Bunch going. : ) I have been a season ticket holder for 11 years going on 12. I found that other site by chance and had been a member since Jan. 2004. I really don't care what the reasons for the new site are, but I am glad to be here. I'm not a need to know guy. Just get me to where the people are and I'll work it out. I enjoy coaching the kids in sports. Right now it is baseball. I feel like I am at the park every night. My 6 year old cranks it in T-Ball. Man is he fun to watch out there. And my 9 year old plays travel ball. The 12 year old.....well she is the cheerleader. Lets take this site to another level.
You must be proud of what Schnellenberger has accomplished there. I know that I am. I was heartbroken about his son; at least he is at peace and healthy and whole now, but it has to be absolutely devastating to Howard and his wife.
Welcome. And say Hi to my ex-wife when you run into her, I understand she lives around those parts now. Don't worry about not recognizing her if you see her, you'll know her by her leathery wings and long, bloody fangs.
Good luck brother! An exam is an exam the way I see it. Like I tell her, relax, focus and kick some butt
Guess it's my turn. Joe; born in La Habana, Cuba (yes, that's how you really spell it! ) I've lived in Seattle since January 1995 after growing up in Miami since I was 4. Lurked for months before joining in May 2004 at FH in order to better annoy the populace and torment the staff. No, I wasn't part of the PhinZone refugee wave, FH was my first home on the net. I'm an independent contractor in the tech construction industry after 7 years managing the construction of infrastructure in the wireless industry. After the Borg drones took over at the company I was working for, I managed to escape without being assimilated. After that I decided that corporate America could suck my **** and went out on my own. It's been fits and starts but I'm glad I did it. I chose the username NaboCane because I am a University of Miami Hurricanes devotee first and foremost; although my sickening devotion to the Miami Dolphins comes in just a hair behind that. "Cane" is self-explanatory and "Nabo" is an edible root native to the Americas - Hurricane from the roots up. And it sounds good. If I do say so myself. If there's anything else you'd like to know about me, just ask my parole officer.
